Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

They are not your responsibility. If people have taken on debt while interest rates were at historic low levels and not made provision for interest rates to go up to normal levels again then that is poor choice made by them, not you. I have no idea on what rate tax payer you are. However...

Sorry but I've just always been somebody who believes a person should pay their own way. It would be an interesting stat to see how many of those with more than two children having their income supported by the government were once not having their income supported by the government only for...

The recent groupthink is in danger of destroying that most successful and enduring broadcaster in global history. Unless the BBC genuinely accept this and do something about it we may well no longer have a state broadcaster in the next decade or two.

Personally I think there is a need to have a tax-funded state broadcaster. The issue is that the tax-funded state broadcaster has to be balanced and uphold the highest standards of journalism. Those that have brought this recent shame on the BBC should hang their heads in shame, by doing this...

The BBC can choose to spend the (vast amount of) money that it receives however it chooses.

I don't think it is right that any person should take home less than 50p in any £1 that they earn.

Responsible people think long and hard whether they can afford to have children. I think there are very few people in the world who are 'lazy scum'. However I don't think that anyone should expect others to pay for their own choices (and how many children one has is very much a choice (multiple...

    Brennan Johnson

I'm not sure that is down to replacing Johnson with Kudus though. I think that it is a lot to do with Palhinha coming in and also being less attacking in general.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I don't think Romero would be able to play well as a full back. Jan was a superb full back (often played there for Belgium).

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Especially as we have two players in Gray and Bergval who will be able to go on the A list next year and be classed as club trained one more year after that.

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Looking at our squad (and the abundance of players we have out injured at the moment ("For fcuk sake Ange!") I think there are a few areas in which we are weak assuming a fully fit squad. IMO the most pressing needs and left back and goalkeeper. We lose too much of an attacking threat on the...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

We did all this to death before the season started. The priority when we are making signings shouldn't be what will happen to our champions league squad. It should be does the player improve our premier league squad.

Think I first called him out as somebody we should sign back when he was playing for Walsall ;)

We saw the same last season. Porro's performances dropped when he was fatigued. When he got to rest a bit he was then really good for those games that mattered at the back end of last season.

It was because we had width on the left with Odobert and that created more space in the middle

It looks to me as though Richy is often just going through the motions. I think Pro footballers call it 'ghosting'. Where they run in behind as they see the ball going short, go short when the see the ball going in behind. Don't really properly challenge for headers, run a tiny bit late to a...

Equally, I feel that there is also a portion of the fanbase for whom they have used the 17th place finish to completely wipe us winning the EL last season.

Indeed... any semi competent keeper comes and punches that one away.... At very worst for a corner from the other side and at best properly cleared out of the penalty area out of immediate danger. I'm not looking forward to the Woolwich game where they are likely to badly expose Vicario's...

Indeed. We got very lucky against Chelsea to only lose 1-0.
