Johnson is poor in possession and poor defensively. Swapping him out isn't going to help Porro either defending or in attack.

The problem is we don't have an alike player to swap in for him. Someone like Ajayi would be a good option to keep the same play style but just with fresh legs. Maybe that's what we will see next season?

    Xavi Simons

Hes getting more touches because he's playing centrally, it's just the nature of playing in the middle. It's maybe a fair argument that he wasn't up to speed initially with the speed and physicality of the league but he also played a lot initially on the left. Basically a no mans land for him...

A centrally placed Xavi is the only Xavi I recognise.

I was going to go today but it was my son's birthday party this morning and I knew I wouldn't make it on time. I was actually going to take him for his first game then I realised the time clash. 😭

Hopefully other teams see this and make a good offer on the summer.

Oh my fudging GHod that goal was the making of Xavi. Lost it with a loose touch, won it straight back and then went and scored scored. That is his fudging moment!

I just saw one of our players being nudged away from the ball during that corner by a player not looking at the ball. Yet no penalty given.

It's not that, it's his dribbling style, he's a bunderler as much as finesse dribbler. That's just his play style.

That's exactly how I saw it. It's quite frustrating that because Kudus is strong refs just think he can handle himself and they don't give fouls when they should. We then react and get a yellow. Reffing shouldn't be player based it should just be based on the specifics of the incident.

The footballs been very positive today, it's the energy that is doing it for us today. Really lively, forcing the opposition back and not giving them time is enough sometimes to scatter them about.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

It was indeed very good, I remember being surprised at how good it looked considering the players we actually had but it never had any balance to it and even then it lacking crisp cutting edge, there was a lot of just , it relied too much on overwhelming the opposition and keeping the side...

Surround good players with other good players and you tend to get positive results (we don't have enough of these and the ones we do have we aren't using effectively). Its partly why i'd find some way or system that gets Xavi on the pitch and in a central area. I'd also lean towards Odobert who...

If we were doing well, playing good football I doubt you'd see that much commentary on it.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I'd argue its largely to the manner of the win in the context of the season as a whole. It wasn't a season of great performances with the occasional disappointment, buoyed by the triumph of finally breaking our 17 year duck. It wasn't an indifferent season, salvaged by a great cup run with...

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

They need better service and we need better forwards (MuanI excepted).

    Xavi Simons

I don't think that it's that Frank doesn't like or rate him. I think our problem is as with many things structural. To get the best out of Xavi or any 10 really, you need both a ball passing 8 or a team with good usage of the ball or a tactic to play through that 10 at all times. If we aren't...
