    It was a game where you could clearly see that we have no idea how to try and create anything besides getting it wide and crossing. The players looked directionless. The naivety and mistakes defensively were symptomatic (for me) of a team who simply don't know quite what they're doing from one...

    His subs were silliness. Bentancur made sense. Unless fatigue was a factor at that stage, none of the others did.

    As a kid, I had a paper round which included Sally James' house! I'd occasionally linger to see if there was a view to be had and she once opened the door in her bathrobe and said thank you; I nearly fell off my bike!!!

I believe all these players have profficient technical levels, and what causes them to drop off is pressure and inconsistent application of styles and patterns. Albeit yes, whatever shape there is, you should be able to pass and control a ball...
