*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley FC ***

He doesn’t know how to play the role. He takes up the same positions as tho he were on the right. I’d like to see Odobert on. Ironically Solomon was great against Burnley away in Ange’s first season.

I know - I remember how bad it was. Johnson is one of very few modern day wingers who are more dangerous on their non inverted side.

Both right wingers in the team. Both left wingers on the bench. Spurs-ball.

Possibly. I don’t really rate Solanke and believe we need a forward. In a standard 4231 would you rather: Isak Tel Kulusevski Kudus Or Solanke Savinho Eze Kudus

Unless we turn him to brick (quite possible) then you’re getting at least 2/3rds of that back in 3 years. For clarity - I know we’re not getting him in a million years.

Ask yourself this. How many players do you see go back to their original club for a pre-determined fee? Most likely - they are sold elsewhere and original club get a cut. Or they run their contract down and go elsewhere for free.

That’s a cheap deal for Mcatee - Young, English, progressive. We must have something up our sleeve if we need a 10 and he’s not been considered.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

As I said in my previous post. He looks to have a great attitude (based on what you mention - I spotted that too last season). The fact he got on in front of WO and BJ says a lot about how Frank sees him.

If we get that Richarlison every week then yeah. But it usually only lasts for 2-3 games. Here’s hoping TF turns the lightbulb on.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

I’ll cheer him loudly on Saturday. And I bare no grudge for tonight - I actually applaud him for stepping up. I can still observe that I don’t see the required skill set. I actually rate Odobert higher and think he’s a much better ball carrier and maybe would have been a better shout tonight...

Still pre season and they pressed their socks off. Thats how you utilise 5 subs nowadays. Our subs just weren’t good enough.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

Football fans will comment on what they see, but nobody deserves abuse. However, I’m pretty comfortable in saying I haven’t seen any tools that I think will make him a success in the premier league, apart from the fact he has a really good attitude. He had about 15-20 games last season and in...

If you could add 2x60m players would you go for Savinho and Eze or just one of those and a striker (I think the ship has maybe sailed with the good strikers for this window).

That’s who I meant as was replying to the specific post about the latter stages of the game.

I don’t think the players on the pitch were good enough.

Shame for Tel but christ the drop off from Kudus to him. Could have just put that 30m towards Savinho/Eze. Nice to see a strong spine now with Palinha and Bentancur in front of Romero and VDV.

The difference between Kudus and Richarlison vs Tel and Solanke has been pretty stark. Haven’t given us anything up the pitch.

Possibly due to Eze's heat map being a little more advanced as part of the front 3 (on the left), and Odegaard playing more central and slightly deeper (more posession/more passes). Encouraging numbers and a high quality player no doubt.

Thanks for that. I guess we need to be mindful that Odegaard's team will be in possession and on the front foot a lot more that Palace. So would naturally expect higher numbers.

Does anyone have one of those fancy data charts that compares Eze's passing and Odegaard? (Long pass, short pass, key pass etc). He would be a good benchmark.
