It is not treason. That is nonsense.

Holding signs shouldn't be illegal for a cause that isnt terrorism. There is no justification here. This is a slippery slope.

People holding cardbord signs were arrested. Yeah peaceful protest is off the menu.

This is utter flimflam. If this is allowed to stand then the UK is on a dark path

That bill being pushed through would give ICE a bigger budget than the Russian army. Mental.

Exactly. Who was terrorised? If this is terrorism, then the word has lost its meaning. Throw it in with the rest of the 'words that have lost their meaning' bucket with woke and socialism. Criminalising non-violent protests is proper authoritarian BS, and the UK has gone way too far down that...

Controversial opinion. Lawns are ecological monoculture dead zones whose only purpose was to flaunt wealth and resources by wasting the land. Unless you are playing football on it stick some native plants out there instead :smirk: . What's the temperature where you are?

Things we hate about modern football

Exactly. The old guard does not want to move aside, but they are not made for this moment. The US is circling the drain and the folks over there are crying out for someone to fight for them. Mamdani is exactly the fighter they need.

The attacks are not all coming from one side of the house. Though Nadler did endorse him in the end, I don't think ye olde dems like this either. They are happy with their lot and don't want to rock the boat too much.

It is not even surprising anymore. Trump has given these bigots a permission slip to reveal their true nature, and they are revelling in it. Mamdani represents a shift in power from monied interests, and they will use every dirty trick in the book to bring him down. They can't see beyond their...

A win for a good man in NYC against a bad man. Hopefully, the gerontocracy in the Democratic Party realises this is the path to win, not more stale centrist flimflam. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jun/24/new-york-mayoral-primary-results
