    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton - Sunday 6 October at 4.30 pm **

And still no subs… Just make some fudging changes. Need to get a grip with still 20+ mins left.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton - Sunday 6 October at 4.30 pm **

It's been revolutionary playing Maddison deeper and Kulu in the number 10 position, so happy with any team as long as that's the case. Would personally go with: Vic Porro Romero VDV Spence (give Udogie more of a rest) Biss Madds Kulu Johnson Solanke Son/Werner But... unless Son/Werner have a...

Think he's at Oxford at the moment moment? Wherever he is he's only had a few mins off the bench all season.

    OMT *** Spurs vs – Ferencváros (A) – Thu 3 Oct 5.45pm UK / 6.45pm Budapest***

Yep. I mentioned before that they are brick (and ability wise they are), however both the fans and the team will be absolutely up for it. There's national pride at stake too, so "game of their lives" levels of effort as a PL team is huge for them. I expect they'll give us a very physical game...

    OMT *** Spurs vs – Ferencváros (A) – Thu 3 Oct 5.45pm UK / 6.45pm Budapest***

Nice place to go. Budapest is such a pretty city. Good beer, good food/shopping and reasonable prices. Anyone there in the day, around the river is cool (or up the hill on the other side for a great view). Stadium is next to the main train station so a bit bricky (semi homeless hanging around)...

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United 29/9/24 at 4.30pm **

It’s great that even with no Son, Richy or Odobert the subs bench still has so many options. Hoping one day for a last minute Mikey Moore winner!

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United 29/9/24 at 4.30pm **

One thing Werner is really good at is well paced crosses along the ground. If Utd push up then hopefully he can get success feeding Solanke. I don’t think he’s as bad as made out. Doesn’t stop running & holds his position really well and keeps the pitch wide.

    OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v Qarabag *** 26/9/24 at 8pm.

But…wouldn’t you still be able to score goals, just less likely to score worldies (sorry, couldn’t resist!)

What was your wife’s verdict? Is she now a lillywhite?

    Dominic Solanke

Yeah that was great. The goal looks like a tap-in, but the awareness and speed to be there before any defenders is a definite skill. Still needs a few more goals to fully settle, but looking promising so far.

    Radu Drăgușin

He did a Pickford…misjudged the pace of the ball and it went too far past him, attacker nipped in.

    Lucas Bergvall

Yeah both of them are the real deal. Not just “kids with promise” but two of the best young players in the world. Bergval is probably disappointed not to get a chance to shine, but his mentality is way too strong for this to effect him. I’d also put Moore in this category, just a bit younger /...

    The Goon Thread

Did enjoy Haalands brickhousery. Throws the ball at Gabriel, tells Arteta to "stay humble" and also ran over to the young kid they brought on to say "who the fudge are you". Very entertaining.

OMT: Might Spurs v Coventry Wednesday 18 September, kick-off 8pm

Worth 20 mins to see if he can play a role as backup… (presuming he’s been professional which it seems he has)

Not that strange imo. Resting both CBs makes sense. Would have liked to see Spence RB and Gray in CM but otherwise pretty much what I was expecting.

OMT: Might Spurs v Coventry Wednesday 18 September, kick-off 8pm

Nice idea to try a team for the PL, rather than just play everyone who hasn't got a game yet. Kulu for Werner (and swap sides with Odobert) and that's my first team too (although would like to see how Richie does when he's back) Son, Maddison and Bentancur haven't been doing enough for me. We...

Too good ha Would like to see the kids play, win 7-0, and move closer to the first team.
