    Daniel Levy - Chairman

I’ve posted this before, showing that our revenue as a percentage of the richest PL club’s revenue has grown a fair bit since Levy was here: http://www.glory-glory.co.uk/attachments/upload_2023-1-24_11-5-26-png.14981/ The only club that’s done better is Man C, but they did it with a £1bn gift...

    Ange departs

Well said, this is the #1 reason I’ve not given up on Ange - because the players clearly haven’t.

    Ange departs

Young players like Porro, Davies, Bentancur, Maddison, Son and Richarlison?

    Ange departs

Yeah fair enough. I don’t know enough about his historic injuries.

    Ange departs

I don’t think it’s just about the quality of the squad. I think it’s about the extra fatigue caused by lack of rotation, and Ange’s system demanding high energy that the players don’t have. I appreciate some think he should adapt his system, but I can understand his rationale for persisting with...

    Ange departs

I’m still Ange In, primarily because a) both he and the players seem to still have commitment and conviction, and b) I can believe that the prolonged injury crisis has had a massive effect on performances and results, and because of that you can’t really judge Ange’s potential here.

    ***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Everton***

Don’t think that’s a valid/relevant reason - he was bang in central midfield, and just made zero attempt to run back with his man. Guess it might just be fatigue.

    ***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Everton***

I know Gray is young and has generally been a brightspot, but he was woeful for their second goal.

    ** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool ** 8.1.25 at 8pm

Shut the fudge up about Bergvall. First yellow clearly shouldn’t have been. Can’t complain about the second but not the first. Ridiculous.

    ** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool ** 8.1.25 at 8pm

There was no kick - he just hit his head on the ground awkwardly (just rewound it)

    ***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Liverpool***

My main frustration at the moment isn’t that we’re playing too attacking - it’s that our press system looks really flawed at times. Hate the way our wide forward presses their CB, then our FB has to press their FB, then our CB gets dragged out wide to cover our FB. Just like for their third goal...

    Djed Spence

Looks so good. Really hope from this point onwards he’s a proper member of the squad, trusted as much as everyone else is.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Rangers ** Thursday 12 December 2024.

Maybe it’s a calculated attempt to try and turn his form around - trying a harder line when an arm around the shoulder for months hasn’t done anything.

    Cristian Romero

Unfortunately that’s the wrong interpretation, if you look at the full quote. He goes on to say: ‘The last few years, it's always the same - first the players, then the coaching staff changes, and it's always the same people responsible," said Romero, in an interview translated from Spanish...

    Cristian Romero

tinkles me off when players start spouting about the club’s spending. We’re not Emirates Marketing Project, Liverpool or Chelsea Cristian. They have more money than us. Focus on your own mistakes on the pitch instead please.

***** OMT TOTTENHAM VS CHELSKI *****

It was definitely less force than Romero’s IMO. Seems I’m in the minority in thinking today’s wasn’t a red.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton - Sunday 6 October at 4.30 pm **

And this wasn’t even after them beating the press! For the first goal, we had 10 men behind the ball. But Johnson left their full-back alone, and they just went CB > FB > Mitoma > goal

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton - Sunday 6 October at 4.30 pm **

Sorry if this has already been discussed - haven’t really been on here since the result. Just watching it back on MOTD, and seems like the first two goals both stem from us not tracking their LB. First one Porro’s caught in two minds and loses Mitoma, second one he goes to the left back and...

    Rodrigo Bentancur

Quiet game from Bentancur today I thought. Seemed to play it very safe most of the time. He’s not looking quite like the no 6 I imagined / hoped for. Still, no mistakes, and maybe that’s all we needed from him today!

    Dejan Kulusevski

So glad he’s finally getting games at no.10 - has always looked good there for us IMO. Brilliant today.
