    Expectations for 25/26

Challenge for top 6 and hopefully another trophy, don’t care which one but the super cup or the FA cup as we haven’t won that in too long. Definitely need 3 new forwards if we want to challenge any higher than that. And a DM.

    Guglielmo Vicario

Back to Vicario, I’d sell him as I think we would probably make money given his age. Maybe he will improve under a less gung ho manager though.

    Guglielmo Vicario

I don’t think it’s outrageous to say Ederson has regressed but he doesn’t seem to rate any keeper other than Vicario who has made plenty of errors and is panicky beyond belief particularly from set pieces.

    So, what happened today?

Went to Wimbledon yesterday and got ground passes. Always a great day out but the weather wasn’t ideal.

    So, what happened today?

I’ve been running at 5am because it’s too hot any other time of the day.

So you don’t rate Ederson in addition to Raya.

    Scott Munn

You fudging swear all the fudging time in every fudging post. You don’t fudging like it when anyone fudging questions Ange or fudging Munn. We finished seven fudging teenth. That’s as close as you can fudging get to being relegated without getting fudging relegated the last fudging time I checked.

If it was anyone other than Munn and Ange you’d be arguing the opposite. Your response is (predictably) angry.

    Guglielmo Vicario

Yeah you should factor in the defence in front of the keeper. I still think Vicario makes routine catches look difficult, he opts to punch the ball when there’s no one near him rather than catching the ball and he just has a nervous, edgy kind of look about him that doesn’t inspire confidence...

Depends what your definition is I guess. I’d say 17th place is flirting personally. Would have been close if the three teams below us weren’t so poor. I just gave you an example.

    Richarlison

I’ve not heard that about the WHL pitch myself. Why would they make it any harder than the standard PL pitch?

    So, what happened today?

Yes there’s no need to be mean to people but sometimes the truth is the best medicine. I guess people have to choose, would they rather a doctor give them the cold hard facts or be lie to them.

The league form has been a car crash since December 2023 onwards. I’d rather win a trophy than finish 4th and win nothing but I never thought we would flirt with relegation. A trophy and poor league form in my head always looked like mid table, say 7th-12th (similar to when we won the league...

I’ve never rated Elliot or Curtis Jones either tbh.

Bournemouth and Brighton have also got good fees for their players. We got £85m for Bale who had had 1 consistent world class season and 1 season playing in the CL. I must admit though I did spit out my weetabix when I saw the fee for Quansah.

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

I must admit I used to be very skeptical/critical of fasting but I have friends that do intermittent fasting and they all swear by it. I’m not sure if I have the mental toughness and will power to do it as I think about food 24/7

This is a circular argument so I’ll leave it there. One of the primary concerns about Levy is his decision making when it comes to football. The business side he’s got covered.

    Scott Munn

But he works in and around football. He needs to have experience in ensuring we sign top talent.

Their fans seem convinced they are going for Isak. I don’t get why people get annoyed when they get decent fees when they sell players. It’s what everyone should do and we laud Levy when he pulls teams pants down for our players.
