    They can't. No matter how rich the owners are there's only so much they can do to boost revenue. And since spending is tied to revenue, both for the PL and UEFA, they're hamstrung. They'll probably get there eventually, but it's going to take years before their revenue reaches the point where...

    Do we know for sure the owner got involved? I don't see it mentioned anywhere. Everything is stated in terms of the club reneging, not Marinakis. Not that it isn't plausible that he's behind it, but it's interesting that his name isn't mentioned anywhere other than Spurs' forums speculating he is.
