These sources are guesses. The audited accounts are the only accurate source we have. It's factually the case that Liverpool paid 121m more a season than we did. It's not up for debate.

Maybe some have weaponised it, I just know it's always been a key thing for me. Transfer fees have always just been a portion of the debate.

This list is inaccurate, at last count Liverpool's audited wage bill was 121m a year more than our own. There's no way we are paying the same general wages or that we are matching in general after their big two. It just doesn't add up numerically.

Not true. You've literally replied to my posts about this over the years. You're getting old and forgetting. 🤣🤣🤣 And this is just me, I'm sure others have also said the same over the years. 🤣 And this one was from 2019

I look forward to having a tactical astute and flexible coach. It will be nice to have someone who actually plans for the opposition strengths and weaknesses, someone who can think on his feet and adapt to an ongoing situation. I actually do think Frank is gonna be a very good appointment.

They are better coached and play in more suited systems.

Hes trying to mimick him and at times that's limiting his game right now because he doesn't pass when he should, he tries to beat his man when there are better options and he constantly shoots. It feels like he's watched the 2nd half of CR7's career and is trying to be that when he's not taking...

No, but he's not got the ability and his over confidence doesn't match what he's actually capable of. CR7 wasn't the same player at 21 that he became later. Garbacho is trying to be the fully finished version of CR7 and he's not got the game to do it.

He also mostly played on the right despite being a LWF. I don't know how well we can truly judge his performances last season given he was misused 90% of the time.

Don't get me wrong I don't think we played particularly well against United but once we got the goal they really had nothing for us, they really are that poor. The chances they did make were of low quality other than really the one Vicario handed to them personally on a silver platter. So yes...

Do you also think United out played us in the EL? They had way more shots, more possession and a better xG? Liverpool didn't need to play better than they did so they didn't. It was like our EL final a professional performance where you are better than your opponent and have the upper hand...

A quick switch pass from deep is something that was desperately lacking Ange. In part because we didn't really have the player but mainly because Ange clearly didn't want to use that tactic. Foolish really when he has players Johnson in the team who are useless on the ball but useful in rubbing...

💯 I dunno what it is about these players. We love mediocrity. 🤦‍♂️

We didn't outplay them at all. They had the lead and said break us down. The fact that their defence did way better than our attack (we created the grand total of fudge all and didn't have a shot on target until the 70 something minutes says it all). We weren't battering down their hatches, their...

You're creating an artificial limitation by asking who wanted to come but we wouldn't pay their wages. The thing is paying them the wages is largely what makes them want to join in the first place. If you offer the wages they will come. 🤣 Now whether you feel that's a smart way to do football...

The poi The point is those players wouldn't come to Spurs largely because we won't pay the wages required. They don't need to have chosen a "lesser club" they just have to not be available for us.

I'd say Mönchengladbach or Bremen were more Liverpool but that's a matter of opinion and probably splitting hairs.

Tbf there's a player, just not one that scores goals. He likes to fight and be physical too much.

You could say that I suppose, the angle i look at it from is that Dortmund weren't a top side when he joined and he turned them into dominant 2x champions and CL Finalists but yes the Bundesliga was available to be won by a good side rather than it being an automatic win by Bayern. He did what...
