    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

But he was def floating in the hole, he was playing loads in and around the box, flicks and reverse passes on both sides of thr box with the inverted FBs when it was working. Anyway, it's been a good convo.

I'm just responding to the comments about him playing a deeper role. He was IMO very much the definition of someone that played the majority of his time in a more free advanced role

With the clear depth on focus being in a purely floating role in advanced areas and not deep. If the trend was him in a Modric role who would be picking the ball off the defence ala Modric then I would think that mapnwould be reversed Anyway, like I say, I hope he does well under Frank...

That's his 23/24 heat map so anecdotally there might have been moments he dropped deep, but he most def spent majority of his time as the free/advanced role in a CM 3.

Hahah Touché I was bored at home waiting for my chicken sheesh to turn up

He may do, but it will most def be high work rate, not reckless like Ange but we will be a team that works to earn to play rather than being as gung ho as Ange, with hopefully more quality than Brentford had. Watched alot of official videos of their past pre season and there are definite...

Well if you are not making assumptions on style then it's fairly limiting topics about the manager and the future.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Hahah well quite. If we can't make assumptions on how we will play and how player might fare, then its not much of a place anymore

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Hmmm Ok, I would say fresher and clever, he has never been quick but we will agree to disagree there. As I say.........we will see and again......I hope I am wrong.

Isn't the point of a forum to discuss things?

I did and he played in the hole and wasn't anywhere near as exserted as the others. With all due respect, if you are telling me you think he has the same pace, energy and legs as his colleagues then we will leave that there.

Even from a standing start I think its clear Madders is not as mobile as others.

Be interesting to see the breakdown of players in that as I would think some do more than others As I say we will see because JM at times looked like he was running in tar this season, I hope he proves me wrong I really do

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

His teams work alot harder than most though, the point of the article was what would be expected and his teams cover ALOT of distance, so JM will regardless be asked to do alot more than he is used to and that might be out of his comfort zone and or limits. Franks sides defend as a 9 in a 4/5...

One of the Scandi lads from what I can remember from the article I saw.............You would have to look at those stat sites I imagine.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Not sure what the stats are for Madders in terms of distances covered but someone reported that Franks 10s need to have at least 11/12km per game in the tank and the legs to defend and then join attack, I wonder if JM has that in him, time will tell

    So, what happened today?

Yeh same but I think its just the worst of human nature magnified at times. People in queues, under authority in airports and on planes and just acting with some human decency is what people sometimes struggle with. I would say the majority of my flying experiences with people have been...

Yeh sounds about right.........I have worked in one of the worlds largest hotels and the background operation at Spurs is nearly as big and anything I saw there, can't be underestimated

Was it not reported during furlough that we had 450 staff on the payroll, thats what caused all the uproar at the time? There is alot of outsourcing of staff like you say but we also have the largest footballing operation in the country, so even with a split there would be a large number of...
