    New Kit?

It's just tradition for this to be the thing people can whinge about at this time of year, soon to be replaced by signings, finally onto the season itself. Rinse and repeat :D....

    Ange departs

If he is being allowed to start next season there is no chance he would get until January. You're previous post is accurate IMO - first 6 games or so maybe 8 and if we're anywhere around bottom half of table and same sort of flaws showing then he's done for.....

    Ange departs

He didn't try to juggle them at all to know whether he could or not - Romero, VDV and Udogie all back from injury but never played together in the league. Like you say it was all eggs in one basket...

    Ange departs

The way some were talking about Paratici it was as if it's been officially confirmed he will be coming back, I thought I'd just missed the announcement- what actually is the situation with him then?

    Ange departs

Yeah I agree, I hate using injuries as an excuse tbh But I do think this first half of the seasons were unprecedented, I would give him leeway for that. Personally I'm more interested in what has been learnt since then. Any team would struggle having to juggle Europe and the PL with that number...

He looks exciting on the pitch, but 8 goals and 8 assists in the league hardly screams out must push the boat out to get him type of signing....

    Ange departs

Yes they have, that is nothing compared to what we went through first half of the season. And injuries are everywhere now in the modern game with all the extra games these guys are going through. Brighton apparently suffered more players out with injuries than us, Bournemouth had a big injury...

    The Cricket Thread

I don't know anything about cricinfo so don't know just how in depth it was. But I look at live cricket scores the same as football, on the LiveScore app. They do live scores and summaries for county games eg Essex yesterday:

    Ange departs

Every team gets injuries, no one is saying they are going to miraculously disappear. But Ange was clearly rotating more and waiting longer before bringing injured players back into the fold compared to before the injury nightmare, we wasn't getting a new substantial injury every week in the...

    Mathys Tel

Indeed Mbuemo is great but unlikely to come here if other rumoured teams interested go in for him. And it does sound as though we want to negotiate the fee down, and Mbuemo is 5 years older so that has to be taken into account. Whilst Tel hasn't set the world alight, to me it appears he has a...

    Transfer thread

I think this is a bit of a stretch. We would be creaming ourselves if we had got Delap, he is an extremely talented player who has a whole PL season behind him and shown he can perform. And as for the player, he will get plenty of game time - It's not prime Kane he was competing with, if clubs...

    Cheatski are still scum

Funny old game is football :D That's why I said winning in Europe is not to be sniffed at regardless of how difficult opposition is perceived to be. When you come up against different teams from different countries it is not easy. Club Athletic are definitely better than Betis, how on earth...

    Jose Mourinho

You're not, he is box office and he's just a pantomime villain. Those in football both players and managers speak about what a good guy he is and I've seen him enough times outside of the day to day football environment to see this - I think he just enjoys being mischievous half the time...

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

Agree with every word you said here, and I'd say same applies to managers although people like to twist what the manager says if they don't like them. But, there is no chance these players would go through as bad a period as we have done in the league for so long and still produce as they did...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Really is a top guy Maddison, he speaks so well and comes across so genuine. Also loved how he responded to that muppet Simon Jordan on Talksport the other day, Jordan who had tried to put him down with him mocking him for not being in the final, he came back with a classy response. Represents...

    Ange departs

What does being successful moving forwards mean? Back to just hoping to finish top 5 and hoping to win a trophy? We aren't ever going to be a club winning trophies year after year with this ownership, shiny stadium or no shiny stadium. Only the biggest spenders have ever competed in the league...

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

Thanks. I saw this which made it sound as you get 2 from each even in pot 1 but your explanation makes sense as would give an adavantage

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

What would that change? Genuine question. As far as I understand it no matter what pot you are in you are drawn to play against two teams from each pot. If that's the case I don't see what pot you are in making any difference....
