You have no actual evidence that was the cause of the injuries.

The 'veryold in your username translates to your sports science knowledge as well I see.

Making the player a very high wage offer and then low balling the club is reasonably standard behaviour. The player then only has eyes for Man Utd and the club have the possibility of an unhappy player trying to force a move.

He was a right taco!.... I wonder what happened to him?!? ;)

    Leroy Sané

@billyiddo is naive to think that players consider much more than their pay packet (first) and where they will be living (second) when deciding which club they will join.

He (Bergval) also still makes lots of mistakes. Many of which put us under real pressure with great opportunities for the opposition to create a goal scoring chance from. He has loads of attributes and is a great player to watch but he wouldn't yet be close to starting for any of the big boys...

It's something he's made up to lend a bit of weight to his argument mate ;)

Must say that I never knew 'flirting with relegation' and 'in a relegation battle' were two different things. :D At what point does a 'flirt' become a 'battle' @billyiddo ?

Yes really. Since when did we flirt with relegation? I remember going to Selhurst park to watch us beat Wimbledon 6-2 but that was a long while ago.

I'm sure @HarryBreadbap does, the question is whether or not Spurs do? ;)

Mbuemo and Cunha would both be first choice players for us.

    Levy stepping down rumour

I took a quick look at the accounts and can actually see that 40% of the interest cost is just notional interest. Total of interest bearing loans = £851,448,000. Total interest (including notional) = £50,240,000. However if removing the notional interest then the actual interest paid was...

Yes but that's why you're not a centi millionaire ;)

    Levy stepping down rumour

Workaholics tend to enjoy work. Levy is clearly a workaholic. I don't know many uber rich people (i.e. those worth hundreds of millions) who retire early, especially the self made uber rich. If Tottenham is sold and Levy eventually steps away from his chairman role then I doubt he would...

    Levy stepping down rumour

From the last set of accounts it didn't seem that our debt was at low interest rates. In fact the interest we are paying on our debt seems to be climbing at rather an uncomfortable rate the past few years.

Indeed. If it was us signing those two players there would be a huge amount of excitement on here. I think Man Utd will do quite well next season. They have a good manager who will have an entire pre-season with his team. They are also making good signings and it seems they are also making...

As I said before, we should largely ignore CL squad when considering our signings and sign our squad with the PL in mind, though (as I also said before) signing a player like KWP specifically with club trained CL squad player in mind would be sensible.

The club trained thing is important for CL as well likely only have Austin in there at present.
