    Mathys Tel

Whatever happens we have to do all that we can to keep Tel with us. He’s an excellent prospect who has shown more than enough that he is a star in the making. Let him shine with us.

    Ange departs

I have cognitive dissonance when it comes to Ange. On one hand I see poor league performances, us struggling to find any true playstyle and basic mistakes repeatedly being made, I hear excuses coming out of his press conferences. And I see a man that is under pressure and lashing out, staring...

    Yves Bissouma

When he was named in the starting lineup for the first leg this was met by much criticism by many of us. And yet, over the two legs he really stepped up and performed so well for us. A lot of credit to him as some, including myself, felt he was done at the club but if he has found this level...

    ***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodø/Glimt*** Europa League Semi-Final Second-Leg Thursday May 8th, KO 8pm

I’ve always supported him. Even having a rant about supporting him previously. He is one of the best centre backs about. Was overplayed and then people wondered why he wasn’t playing at the same levels. Tonight he showed just how good he is.

Come on you fudging Spurs!! What a comfortable night to is was, allaying all fears.

    ***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodø/Glimt*** Europa League Semi-Final Second-Leg Thursday May 8th, KO 8pm

It will always be stressful for a semi final of a cup competition but at least we go in with a lead. Just have to find our feet fast as if we don’t we could find ourselves a goal down within ten minutes and then it gets even more stressful.

    Ange departs

You know I’d prefer now that we were solid in defence than scored the most, I’d prefer we held control over matches as the opposite is reckless and cavalier which is fun to watch but less likely to be successful.

    ***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodø/Glimt*** Europa League Semi-Final Second-Leg Thursday May 8th, KO 8pm

I fully agree. I think we will have had a better season than any team that ends the season without a trophy if we win the competition. We will never see the Champions League return to first only. It’s more and more like a Super League of sorts as time moves forward. See how we now have a...

    ***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodø/Glimt*** Europa League Semi-Final Second-Leg Thursday May 8th, KO 8pm

Let’s hope that the OMT overlords are with you this time unlike at Anfield. I’m tentatively looking forward to the match but would have felt a lot more secure had we not embarked on our ‘everybody is injured’ campaign again. I think that we need to play it tight. Let them have possession but...

    Dejan Kulusevski

Is it just me who is starting to look at this stat as a complete mixed blessing. You could have a player run up and down the line all match along, contribute nothing to the team’s performance and they would be the player that ran the most. What’s important isn’t how far players run, it’s what...

    OMT - The Sh1tmunchers Derby

Agreed. Great club player for many years but his best days are behind him. And even then he was only really a rotation player. Would like to see him become a member of staff for us whether ambassador or coach as he constantly works as hard as he can, and has been with us for for over ten seasons.

A look ahead to next season...

This feels as pivotal a summer as it was in 2011/12 with the sliding doors moment. I’m sure it was said that had we finished that season and qualified for the Champions League that we would have signed Eden Hazard. As it was we finished 4th, but Chelsea took our CL place and signed Eden Hazard...

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodo/Glimt *** Semi final , 1st leg 1/5/25.

I can imagine that the confidence isn’t high right now and that’s a problem as it keeps us playing within ourselves.

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodo/Glimt *** Semi final , 1st leg 1/5/25.

Yes not having players available is part of football. If you always had first team available then it would be pointless having a squad. Whilst I hope that our players that came off aren’t with injury, if they are then the players that replace them will need to be trusted to step up and give a...

We had Kulusevski, Bergvall and Son all out. So not like we weren’t without missing players.

Except he also started the OMT for our 5-1 loss at Anfield. So it’s hard to know how he’s seen to be by those OMT overlords.

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

Doesn’t worry me. Some teams with high possession pass the ball sideways and backwards and end up going nowhere. Whereas some teams are decisive, move quickly up the pitch and create chances without the need to dominate possession. I would prefer that model of play.

    Ange departs

I hate to think how many of our players may want to leave in the summer. There’s been talk of Romero leaving, but it wouldn’t shock me if there were others. Why would any player want to commit their future to a club like our’s at this present moment in time?

    Ange departs

Why are our players making so many mistakes? My guess would be that they are playing in positions or roles which they do not feel comfortable with and do not suit them. A manager should come in, identify the best players to fit the tactic that they employ but then be happy to adjust it so...

He also plays a formation that would suit our players down to the ground. Crystal Palace though do have an underrated ability to them. I do question whether he will leave should Palace win the cup as he may well want to take them into Europe if they win.
