    Ange departs

There is something in that post match clip that has slightly swayed my view - the talk about the next few weeks training and GAMES being all prep for the final. I do wonder if the whole club decided to sacrifice the league and focus on the EL - if so, I can apply that to the results in the Lge...

Results speak for themselves: EL - excellent results and achievement PL - abysmal results and unacceptable The EL and the PL are very different beasts. I said a few pages back, if I'm Levy the question at the end of the season is very simple: "How are you going to ensure the league results are...

Place, Villa and Brighton left - will we make the magic 40? I wouldn't place a bet on it.

That a very blinkered view. The PL and EL are very clearly different competitions, with different standards and need different tools. Even if we lose on Thurs, a EL semi is still a very successful campaign - and I'll applaud Ange and the team for it. Indeed it fits perfectly with Ange's career...

Gives Bilbao hope though.... I'd rather Utd in the final Edit - just looked at Utds team today: They have Fred and Eriksens love child playing And a player whose not is rather appropriate - Amass

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

He set himself up for that from the start with his direct answers - and I respect that. It's the same as his football - he is a one/two trick pony. What he does is very good at a high level, but not at the top level. He's good when it's going well, but doesn't have the top level tools when...
