    Leadership

We've tried everything under Levy except backing a high quality manager. If this manager doesn't work out, how many more appointments should Levy be allowed?

    Leadership

It would be good to rename this thread "responsibility". I would like to hear people who are taking money out of the club by earning a salary to step up and take some. This starts with levy who installed his DoF to be his fall guy. It includes anybody who took any role in signing players for...

Why are we such a pushover against the top sides?

Yep. However I suspect it's more than "city in top gear", we offer a style of play which makes them look good.

Why are we such a pushover against the top sides?

A good team wins in spite of the referees performance. A bad team loses but blames the ref. If the manger blames the ref then it gives an excuse to players not to work on their inability to win.

How do we get back to creating chances & more importantly scoring goals!

i genuinly think its not really about attacking play but our defence. Firstly, last season we offered up lots of mistakes and free goals. Lots of teams now know that if they defend well they can get a goal against us, so they play for it. Who gets the blame? The front players. I remember...

***OMT***Tottenham Hotspur FC v Woolwich Wanckers

First of all there is nothing wrong with 'parking the bus', its a legitimate tactic - you can call it whatever you want "a counter attack", "containing system" or whatever you wish. As we have proven we aren't good enough to go-toe-to-toe with top 4/5 sides. I also agree with the statement that...

***OMT***Tottenham Hotspur FC v Woolwich Wanckers

We did, if we had lost we would have been furious with the team, tactics and levy. We scored with pretty much the only chance we created. On the other hand, it worked and we nearly sneeked off with a win...small margins and all. If they make fun of you/your team, they aren't real friends!

We didn't control the game and looked like we might get away with it. How would your opinion change with that performance had we lost?

Carlyle takeover, was Cain Hoy takeover

Re: Cain Hoy takeover I thought that Zakora was signed before the World Cup but that's only from memory. Looked average too.

Where did this all begin - are we to blame?

There is a growing trend for senior members of the team and club captains to come out in public and apologise to the fans. Gestures like having to hand over the shirts to fans in a loss seem like a good idea to me. Do you think this would help the relationship between fans and players?

Where did this all begin - are we to blame?

Agree with most of this. For me pochettino hasn't done or won anything of note, not yet. He may have potential but his chance to show it is this season. One problem is the squad, Baldini's signings have not been up to scatch, again these guys need a bit more time. We will know by the end of...

Where did this all begin - are we to blame?

It's the result of one home match. The odds on the match were 77% tottenham win 19% draw 4% on west brom That means that we are expected to lose one game like this per season, which we usually do. No crisis, no shock result, it's business as usual! Yesterday was more about fans coming to...

    Positives from today's game...

so it begins, let's sack the manager....that fixed the problem the last 11 times! Nevertheless, I am sure that he will be the next man out of the club. The annual sacrificial lamb to divert our attention away from baldini's poor signings and levy's difficulty in picking experienced managers who...

    Independence...

Well put. I would also add with particular relevance to the Scottish referendum that almost all of these decision makers are elitist, well off and based in London. They are also there whomever the elected government is. It's easy to see why they are considered out of touch with Scotland and...

    Independence...

I used to agree with this but I've had some experience in working with the elected officials and their advisors. In fact the decisions are not made on balance by the elected official, they come via discussions with experts and advisors. In most cases it's impossible for a minister to become an...

    Independence...

I suspect that history will look back on the result of the referendum as a sign of the times. Remember that after the great depression there was rebellion against authority which resulted in all developed countries and in significant political shifts in opinion. We've just ended the so called...

Carlyle takeover, was Cain Hoy takeover

Re: Back Page tomorrow Mirror - Lewis to sell 1 Billion Tottenham The only growth for our club and the league in general is outside the uk. As I mentioned above, a football fan is a fan for life. You don't see brand loyalty like it anywhere else, for example how many car lovers would only...

Re: Back Page tomorrow Mirror - Lewis to sell 1 Billion Tottenham That business model only assumes that football fans are partisan. It would be a shame. Sent from my iPad using Fapatalk
