Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Cup runs and to a lesser extent wins often come down to luck at the end of the day. The league is the true measure of where a team is at, as the monotonous grind of fixtures and the playing of everyone home and away rewards consistency, good game and squad management and tactics. The last...

    ENIC

Very possibly but ultimately, ENIC are funded by and are basically simply a vehicle of investing Lewis's wealth.

    Ange in or out?

Because Maddison has shown an ability to transform a game and Bergvall has not.

    Ange in or out?

I think we have to be careful not to overhype Bergvall. He's not been anywhere near as consistent as some have made out. He's made some bad errors too. He's only 18 and I think he's going to be immense for us; but ultimately Bergvall playing well doesn't result in a good spurs performance like...

    ENIC

He's still pretty much the key financial backer behind ENIC, I.e. whenever there is a cash injection into the club by ENIC, or even an underwriting of a share issuance, or the facility granted to the club the source of funds is from Lewis. ENIC is fundamebtally an investment vehicle for Lewis's...

    Ange in or out?

Yeah and our form has gone down the toilet with that, punctuated by the odd good performance where Maddison rediscovers his mo-jo. The thing is, so many players have regressed under Postecoglu. Why is it that Maddison was a revelation in his first 10 games, following on from a huge goal...

    Ange in or out?

I disagree. I don't think Kulu has that quick switch long pass that Maddison has. I agree he can beat a man and put in a shorter through ball or cross, but that type of deeper Modric, Carrick quick switch to totally change the direction of play, I think Maddison is the only one capable. The...

    Ange in or out?

I think i explained what i was getting at in my post. It depends what you mean by creativity. For me, the most important element of *creativity* in any team is the switch of tempo and switch of play. Maddison makes my pants sticky in a way Kulu doesn't. I.e. we've generally only played well under Ange...

    Ange in or out?

I don't think Kulu is particularly creative. Not in the Maddison sense anyway. Kulu is creative with little one-twos and sliding a pass in, but don't think he (or anyone else in the squad) has the switch of play/pace in their locker that Maddison has when he's on song.

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

All this "we won the stats" is fool's gold. OK, Forest had 4 touches in the box. X2 of those touches were to put the ball in our net. How many of our 20 odd shots were comparative chances? One of those shots was Davies attempting an Erik Edman and another was Spence shanking one onto the corner...

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

We are the least intelligent team in the PL.

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

Forest did what they've done all season. Bang a couple of goals in then back themselves defensively. We huffed and puffed but ultimately an 18th defeat of the season fully deserved for those opening 20 mins.

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

Because they've watched utter bilge all season at the highest prices in the country and the board and management have just let it continue like they don't give a t*** so why should we bother?

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

Yep. This is basically a summary of the first half:

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

We just need some half decent players to be given a half decent shape and some simple instructions that are easy to follow. It's not rocket science. Football is a simple game complicated by idiots. Forest's players look like they know exactly where they need to be at any given moment and they...

Is anyone actually surprised at this?

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

All those talking about basically throwing the remaining league games, if we finish in our current position we will receive only just over £14m in prize money. A final push up to the dizzying heights of 12th (probably the highest we can realistically finish with a last gasp drive up the table)...

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

If Daniel Levy successfully bribed the PL today so that the league was stopped now with Spurs being awarded x3 points for all our remaining fixtures and everyone else being awarded a loss for all their remaining fixtures, we'd still finish outside the European qualifying positions and only 7...

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Is Kier Starmer that wealthy? Anyway, having worked in wealth management i know that rich people don't like to be cash-rich. They like to invest their wealth and borrow from banks for cash flow. That way they're paying interest to banks (2-20%) rather than taxes to the government (10-45%)

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest ***

The hilarious thing about that is thinking that those x2 wins were a 4-0 against City and a 4-1 against Villa.
