    Ange in or out?

We ended up with 9 men because they constantly exposed us forcing us into desperate lunges and mistakes that ended up in the red cards. Not to mention the injuries suffered in that match for the same reason. Yeah we exposed them as they couldn't work out how to breach our high line to score...

They've been playing together recently and both look completely hopeless together. Unsure why Danso who looked so promising has been dropped in favour of Romero and not reinstated following pathetic mistake after pathetic mistake by Romero....

    So, what happened today?

Woman in Brazil sentenced to 14 years in prison in Brazil for joining a protest against the last presidential election result and writing "you lost, idiot" with lipstick on a statue: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c62x6qx682jo

Precisely. The negative feeling to the end of last season wasn't about us thinking finishing 5th per se was a disappointment, it was the fact that our form went down the toilet and if we'd even shown half the form we did in the earlier part of the season, we'd have finished comfortably top 4...

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

I've had a few tonight after a tough week to be fair but you get the sentiment. Its more that it shouldn't really be a debate. And I actually feel really sorry for people that have been born into the wrong body to have to be dragged into this gonads. The problem with identity politics is it is...

I just think that what we've talked about is why so many in the US and Europe are turning to alternative political choices. The mainstream parties and political consensus is getting a kicking. UK has been a bit late to the party but I suspect Reform will gorge on the death of the tories over the...

At least we aren't America. They literally call Thanksgiving and Christmas "the holidays" as it's literally the only time off they get in the year...

Be Entertained! Your Personal Best-Ever Tottenham Entertainers Squad

Hilarious summer when we had an utter dogsh*t rest of team but decided not to address that and sign x3 forwards (Kanoute, Postiga and Zamora) when Robbie Keane was already the only quality player in the squad. Did we sign Defoe that January too?

Not read this but yeah the re-wiring of thought process in childhood and expectations for adulthood has created a diseased society. I myself am on a repeat prescription for citalopram as is my wife. Pretty much 90% of my friends are on some form of anti depressant or counselling/other mental...

It doesn't help that the population keeps increasing. It's not so much that resources are inadequate. The climate was actually warmer in the middle ages. They know that vineyards were common in England and that arrable land in middle east and africa was scarse - but there were far fewer people...

No it isn't about trickle down, it's about the fact that you can't stop clever people from making money and obtaining resources. Attempts to create an equal society is founded on the myth that all people are equal. They're not.

Renewables are not that cheap they are currently heavily subsidised in terms of cost. To produce the same energy as a nuclear reactor you have to have a solar farm about the size of a city. Think about the materials and maintenance cost involved in that.

If you do that you'll simply hit the attractiveness of the investment industry in the UK, which generates huge amounts of revenue for the government. And this goes to a wider point around the complications of the tax system and a lack of transparency around the interconnected workings of it...

I'm not sure how it doesn't make financial sense. Our energy costs are comparatively high and are beginning to be a bit of a "cost of doing business" in the UK, that's because we've largely ended the domestic end-to-end fossil mining to supply and as I've stated, a lot of investment has been...

Energy security has been the first thing to impact the global north. The stark reality of who we have been reliant on for our fossil fuel supply and how inadequate renewables still are at powering current consumption levels has truly been laid bare. France in the corner smoking a cigar having...

Rejoining the single market would be a ridiculous decision. Aside from the fact that we only do c. 40% of trade with countries that are part of the single market (and therefore forgoing an independent trade policy for the relatively minor friction reductions over the current EU trade deal do...

Why is this even a thing? Like we don't already tax the rich. Aside from the 45% rate of income tax, you've got all manner of effective wealth taxes, including inheritance tax, land taxes, capital gains tax, the list goes on. And what happens when you really go after more with the rich? And...

And so it begins....budget deficit over £15 billion more than anticipated. It took the last Labour government until 2004 to rack up an excessive deficit. It's taken this lot a year.
