Unsure i was blaming. Just saying that it's a provocative article and a provocative picture and it's brought out the worst in society and our politics is unfortunately descending into this kind of irreversibly divisive direction. Just for example, the reply to my challenge on Farage being MIA...

How many constituency surgeries has Ed Davey attended recently? Just for example.

It's fairly easy to explain racism. Unfortunately the great unwashed keyboard warriors safe behind their screens will indulge in it.

Is Farage MIA? He's likely no more MIA than any other party leader. The idea that the majority of MPs, let alone those with additional responsibilities within government, shadow government and party have time to respond pwrsonally to every communication they get from their constituents, plus...

They've proved more popular in Europe so far than BYD as UK engineering has tended towards better design for European driving conditions (heavier steering and stiffer suspension) than Chinese engineered brands. Plus focus on compact SUV market and ownership of an established European brand gave...

I'd exclude Tesla from that characterisation of American manufacturers. Tesla way ahead in terms of EV technology and on a par with the Chinese. They're still the only mass market affordable EV you can buy with circa 400 miles on single rapid charge....

MG are owned by SAIC although they still maintain an engineering team in the UK, they're essentially the other mass-market Chinese brand operating in Europe.

BYD (Chinese car manufacturer) have announced a technology breakthrough in terms of EV charging where 249 miles of range were able to be added in under 5 minutes during tests. This technology would put new generation EVs on a par with ICE vehicles in terms of "refueling time".

So that's all within schengen (although i believe Germany has now imposed border checks).

    *** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodo/Glimt *** Semi final , 1st leg 1/5/25.

Are they still doing away goals in this competition?

United 3-0 up and against 10 men and I'd 100% prefer Utd in the final to Athletic. Need to pick up 2nd half where we left off and bang a couple more goals in

You could never "roam the continent at your leisure without needing a passport to cross borders". You needed a passport to cross the border into the schengen free movement area, and you'd need your passport to exit said area. The UK has never been part of schengen and nor have many European...

Because it's just a sheep mentality now, tied up in identity politics. If you question net zero, you're part of the MAGA or other right wing climate denying fraternity or whatever else. And people feel the need to support it without question as a badge of green/left wing honour. I've worked on...

Although clearly that post is designed to goad the great unwashed. We aren't in the EU anymore, so why put something out with the mayor of our capital city stood in fromt of an EU flag. And actually that flag has never represented "being European", given that there are generally 44 independent...

I agree. And I'd even go further. If your "absolute zero" figure is achieved via solar and wind farms built and maintained via Chinese components in factories using FF and contributing to significant pollutants you are contributing significantly to "above zero" emissions.

So if you agree that net zero is a distraction from the real issues you'll agree with the central point that the Paris agreement is driving us in the wrong direction. It's a "scratch the surface", "make it look like we are trying" treaty. But given net zero IS placing us under significant...

But that's the point. Most of the work isn't done. I've gone over this before but "net zero" is a complete con. "Oh we are green because we don't use fossil fuels, we just import the components for our solar and wind farms from China and India who are turning the sky black to make them...."...

    Ange in or out?

It isn't just being outside Europe via the league. We got over £42 million in "merit payments" from the PL for finishing 5th last season. Brentford, who finished 16th, got around £13 million. Forest, who finished 17th, got about £11 million. So if we do not win the Europa League, we are going...
