    I really can't see it being that low a fee. Last season we squeezed Stoke for Twenty Million for Palacios and Crouch. Only way it's that's low is if he is becoming such a disruptive influence on the team the management have said just get rid of him.

    Biggest problem is the wages player like Bentley and Jenas earn. They would most likely have to take a drop to go to the sort of teams that would sign them. How many of you would willingly take a drop in wages if you didn't have to? That's why Adebeyor is sticking to his wage demands.

    Why? Ade is a proven premiership scorer,17 goals and 11 assists last season that's 28 goals potentially missing from the team but you would rather take a punt on players with no PL experience? Makes no sense to me. Plus they would cost a lot more than the reported 6m we are going to get Ade for.

    To go back to Lloris we must do our utmost to sign him. I know Friedel had a fine season for us last year but surely only has one season left. There is little chance that a keeper of Lloris class will be available next summer so go and get him now. Could be our keeper for the next ten seasons.

    We just dont have the financial pull to beat the biggest teams to the punch for players so if we're in direct competition with the likes of Chelsea or Man Utd we are are unlikely to sign them.
