    The London Taxpayers' Stadium Shambles

Re: O/T West Ham Get Olympic Stadium The penalty would be to buy a large enough piece of land to built a football stadium on it. And that could be several times the price they receive now for their current ground. What people seem to forget is that West Ham Utd does not own any reliable...

Europa League 2012-13 - QF: Basel (SUI)

It was inevitable that we would play Basel. The French name of Basel is Bâle after all.

That was close. But so was it in the last round. And we are still in the draw tomorrow. Brilliant.

    Bloody Leeds!!

Add to this that the draw in Lyon felt like a massive win. This game was a huge boost for the confidence in the team.

    The Goon Thread

There is no sequence of 10 consecutive games in their league season so far where they collected more than 20 points. It swayed between 12 and 20 pts to be precise. Why should a team that hasn't done particularly well so far and is trailing 4th place by 5 pts move into championship winning gear...

That was the most ecstatic moment as a Spurs fan for a while. Winning a cup ties late feels extreme well. Well, winning cup ties at all feel extremely well actually.

Harry managed us to finish forth twice. I can't see us finishing higher than forth again this season which would just equal Harry's achievement.

    Glasgow Rangers

Re: O/T - Glasgow Rangers go into adminstration The difference between Wrexham and Rangers is quite simple. While Scotland is much bigger than Wales it can sustain a reasonable number of professional football clubs to form a league. Wales does not have this opportunity. The only option for a...

38'000 at Ibrox last night. That was a first round match in the Scottish League Cup. That's remarkable. Two years ago there were just 23'000 in the third round of that cup when Rangers played Dunfermline. It seems that Rangers supporters are grateful for now for every game their team pays.

I don't think it is just Sky and the Old Firm who prefer a small Premier League. Even the likes of Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen are probably more in favour of two home games against each other and the old firm clubs then playing Hamilton, Livingstone or Partick Thistle. A quadruple round-robin in...

    Glasgow Rangers

Rangers' fall from grace might be financially disastrous for some clubs in Scotland but certainly not for all. 4'123 were watching Brechin v Rangers. For a club which attracted just 9,293 people in total to 18 league matches last season this number is phenomenal. I suppose that the treasurers...

New Stadium and Training Ground - Pg 104 Northumberland Park master plan

It doesn't reach the height of the last row of the upper tier because it is less steep. That doesn't necessarily mean that there are fewer rows though. I would think that the Kop end covers exactly the same area that the upper and lower tier from the first draft did. Which means it would...
