    Banksy

He is a wonderful, imaginative and clever artist imho. I feel he has, for the first time, brought an insightful intelligence to street art, perhaps he has angilcised it? As for the melancholy in the picture above, as in all art it is what you want it to be.

    Are we bigger than...?

Tottenham have the potential to be as big as almost any club. A bit of history but consider this........Barcelona didn't win a trophy in Europe till 1979. Manchester United were a large English club that had not won a title in over 20 years before SAF joined. Chelsea were a second division team...

    Cardiff Ratings

This. They kept going on about it on the stream I was watching but as far a I am concerned Hugo's hand does not go outside the line which I assume means it cannot be handball. I use the word assume because i am assuming that the line is the keepers, if so, no problem and brilliant keeping.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Cardiff City, Sunday 22nd September***

To those of you wanting to rest players in this fixture I will re-iterate that the league is not won v Chelsea or Arsenal but against the so called championship clubs best them home and away and frankly you have cracked it. Play our best team and win the ****ing game.

Are you a geographical Spurs snob?

I don't live in London, never have and never will. I live an hour north, in a lovely small town, surrounded by beautiful countryside. I have been Spurs for 34 of my 44 years. My Dad is a true country bumbkin, a farmer who began supporting Tottenham in the mid fifties, going on the train after...

    The Cricket Thread

After waiting all summer, I am finally off to see the cricket tomorrow at Edgebaston. Bus there and back, a few beers and several hours of quality entertainment. And as for that forecast - RUBBISH - it will not rain!

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Re: Northumberland Development Project Interesting. While I liked the relative proximity of the seats to the pitch and the 'Wall' end, internally the ground was just too generic for my taste. I don't like the lowered corners which seem pretty pointless IMHO and I don't buy the air around the...

    ***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Norwich

Norwich were my Granddad's team, he was a bit Norfolk obsessed tbh. Anyway, I like Chris Hughton and Delia's Christmas book but I couldn't really give a toss about Naarridge. Nice Cathedral though. Spurs to win 8-0, Lloris to get all nine.

The Blue & Yellow ITK Bonanza Thread

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Re: Northumberland Development Project Our net summer spend for the last few seasons has been remarkably small and assuming that the Bale deal is as reported we are likely to net spend very little this summer too. If we assume that the club has the ability to borrow/spend between £15 and £20m...

Re: Jermain Defoe A goal every 2.5 games. Not top class but pretty fine.

    Gareth Bale

Re: Gareth Bale This is nonsense. Bale is a proven top class player who has the ability to win matches against any opposition. While I want Lamela and Eriksen to join, to suggest that they are preferable to Bale is foolish. However, you are right about his fashion sense, the boy looks a ***.

Erik Lamela (announced by Roma p.41)

A small bit of wee has just seeped out.

    Christian Eriksen

I like this player. I had never seen Chadli or Capoue. hardly seen Soldado or Paulinho but I have seen Eriksen half a dozen times. IMHO he could play in the hole or in a midfield three as well as up top.

Erik Lamela (announced by Roma p.41)

Re: Erik Lamela Might I suggest that if one is going to spend £28m on a purchase, one might charter a jet?

    Gareth Bale

Re: Gareth Bale Reality time. The squad now is better than last year and we still have around £60m if reports are true. The bottom line is that four clubs finished above us without the great man last year and we are more balanced and better than then. The key will be how we spend that money or...
