    The midweek/weekend games thread

Hattrick for Torres of all people. Still think our defeat was perfectly ok with a completely toothless attack ? LOL.

QPR reject Guard of Honour for Chelsea !!!

Yup. Take a few teeth out there.

QPR reject Guard of Honour for Chelsea !!!

It's like suggesting *struggle cuddle* victims showing up at Bramall Lane throwing wet knickers at the wind screen of Ched Evans' car. Absolutely brainddead idea.

QPR reject Guard of Honour for Chelsea !!!

I wouldn't be the least big suprised if the FA wanted just that. The whole guard of honour thing is gut-wrenching in its own right. Can you seriously believe that the association of the biggest sport of the country suggest such an alternative to a handshake during a racism case of all things ...

    The midweek/weekend games thread

Well, I didn't see Defoe shining against them. Did you ? That defence looked like fudging ManUtd when we played them.

    The midweek/weekend games thread

The people who postrationalised the defeats to Norwich and QPR saying we are loosing to "good" teams need their heads examined. Both are easily pressured and punished. By teams with attitude, invention and something as exotic as a "gameplan", mind.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

Harry really, really isn't doing himself any favours here. People say Corluka and Modric are mates. Completely alienating Charlie is hardly the way to start the efforts to keep Modric put.

Now THAT I remember. Got completely turned over by a 40 yo striker playing defensive midfield. Awesome work, Timmie.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

The collapse started in april ? Holy cow. Again, I must be watching completely different games of football. Our decline in performances were clearly visible as early as january. The performances were increasingly incoherent, the players increasingly re-active and the managment completely and...

    The Squad

Either way and not matter his motivation, Corluka is spot on. We don't have enough cover and key players are exhausted. No one actually watching our games can claim otherwise. Good luck to Corluka at Leverkusen. They are a decent club.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

I am guessing everyone vs. Nigel Quashie ?

    The Squad

Absolutely. It's impossible not to like Walker, but the amount of times he gets turned is gobsmacking. Charlie can actually defend, as in not letting crosses in, not letting runners inside, covering the inside lane for the RCB, etc. Saying he is "brick", well that's just laughable. Do people...

Just back from the lane - met all of the players

Well, tell us Dan - who were the top guys apart from Luka and Jake ?

    Defoe caught offside again

Really ? I just thought "footballer". Perhaps I am biased I think he usually comes across as a good lad.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

Could you please try to manage to stick to the topic ?

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

See, that's why you need to keep improving. To not fall beneath the pecking order. And that's not impossible. It's just tough, meticulous (sp) and a long haul. For me it's all about the performances. Ours are declining and have been so most of the season by now. Any team gets blips. It's...

    Defoe caught offside again

I don't think he's an arse nor particulary thick. He's just a spoiled footballer with too much time, too much money, too many "pals" licking his arse and too many Lauras around him. 100 % written by a publicist or a newspaper ghost writing journalist, btw. F*ck*ng slag.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

As long as we are not the PL Champions, I can absolutely see no reason at all why the benchmark shouldn't be consistent improvement.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

Statistically 1 in 9 is pretty bad, especially considering the squad and ressources we had before Christmas. And the fact, that promoted teams make us look clueless. These performances are as bad as under Pleat, and with much, much better players.

What Have you been massively wrong about this season?

Yeah Parker. He has definately been better than I expected. Much better. He's not in top shape right now, but considering the work he's put in, that's understandable. Unfortunate and avoidable, but understandable and not his fault.
