Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Absolute disaster. Ku Klux Kenny is the only manager who'd the fans would willingly accept keeping them in the bottom half for seasons and seasons - and thus keeping them off our back. KKK is irreplacable for teams like Saudi Sportswashing Machine and us :)

Quite to do what ? Full time media bigotry ?

I don't think Agger is as good as Kaboul or as Gallas in comeback form. And as a fellow Dane, I am biased already. Agger has been involved in a brickload of their goals conceded and generally has been inconsistent with injuries and formdrops his entire career.

    Harry Redknapp: The Aftermath

Not right now, he shouldn't, so "NO". However if Levy manages to lure in e.g. the Dortmund manager or someone like him, we should consider it. Harry only has 1 year back of the contract, and I can hardly see him staying on longer. It's really interesting to speculate WTF goes on in the...

Good work Nole I'm sure you are a great guy as well, but your stat-work alone makes you a stand out poster ! Regards

They'd make an alright bench :D ... though, it has to be asked: Are they really better than (I tried to find similar-ish players from the squad, at least same positions) Carlo Dawson Gallas Naughton Huddlestone Corluka Livermore Defoe Only Reina and Skrtel really stand out. The...

Summer Targets - choose 4 - You are the Manager.

We need another #9, two if we don't manage to sign Bad Ade. One could well be Leandro Damaio. We may have to go old-school for a season as well, I'm afraid, if we can't get the right player. Saha is not an answer. He simply is no #9.

    Spurs Player Of The Season

I agree with the few modifications: Jake: 6.5 I still think there is a lot of room for improvement Kaboul: 7.5 Also very insecure at times and contributing to our sometimes dodgy defence Ade: 8 Over the season a spectacular performer, so many important moments from him Saha: 5 very few...

    VDV

On Twitter he and Sylvie (mmm Sylvie ) is making a big fuss about this final day of season, loads of pictures and stuff. She's actually very good at tweeting to cheer for us even when working in Germany etc. Oh, and imagine being inside the new Chirpy suit when she came over to get that...

I don't disagree on L?Âw nor J??rgen, but surely the shirt-tie-sweater-jacket combination is far from dead. Never seen Pep Guardiola in grey suit, off-white shirt, black tie and black cashmere sweater ? That's awesome. Well done to him. It's not wear. It's Ku Klux Kenny who's a c*nt.

Surely Nigel Quashie cannot be overlooked.

Summer Targets - choose 4 - You are the Manager.

I don't think L de Jong i anywhere near as good as the fees quoted, but I may not have seen him enough. One thing I will say about the dutch league, is that the level of defending is mesmerisingly poor even though the league overall is not. It's not that the players are brick, appearently...

    The midweek/weekend games thread

Absolutely. To me it absolutely reeks of match fixing. Arsenal is the luckiest club in top level football amongst any European league. I seriously cannot think of another club who has that kind of luck everytime they are about to go in the bricker.

No doubts aboutn the goals. It's everything else that's a worry. Most big teams today play with an uneven number of strikers up front and most of them just with one. He needs to adapt a whole lot to play that role. It's football which has evolved "away from him". And it's not his fault...

So, your final thoughts 2011-2012 season?

... AND that Arsenal have a stinker away against a team with nothing to play for AND yet that team makes inexplicable keeper drops AND ... AND ... AND. Sods law indeed.

It has. No denying. Full credit. It's just - and he's not the only one guilty of this - we have a fair few bench players, who have looked nowhere up for anything when coming on. Not grapping their chance and not looking like wanting to. In his example not through goal droughts but rather in...

    Annus Horribilis 2011/2012 .............................

That's a very important point. We are 4th. That's the target. Well done. I am happy with it. But it doesn't mean we shouldn't reflect of the massive fudgeup the early 2nd half season was, of which parts were perfectly avoidable. We should learn from it. And that's from transfer policy (oh look...

I think everyone bar Friedel and Ade had very, very average games. Great pass from Rafa, but otherwise quiet. Defoe was very lively when he came on. He was gobbing off on twitter JUST after the game about "if I play I will score" sort of stuff, but he hasn't been doing it much, has he ? Either...
