    I think he was a great player. It takes something else to refuse to let your team lose though. That Kobe Bryant mentality. That's fudging rare, and it's no slight on his ability.

    I don't think that's revisionism to say that Kane isn't a player that comes back from injury and hits the ground running. How are people meant to discuss anything if when they do they are told they deserve Andy Booth's and it's infered that they are supporting their team the wrong way?

    Interestingly for me is that I don't recall ever seeing us dominate a game under Ange. Never left the stadium and thought to myself that we put in a complete performance. Because we only play one way, I don't think it lends it's self to those total 90 mins performances. I'm thinking of the game...

    I think a lot of it is subconscious. When your pushing forward results in the team conceeding from the area all your career you've been taught that you should be, eventually you'll lose faith in what you're being told. There has to be evidence that the methods will work for faith to remain...

    This was the turning point. The media got onto him about the aggression in his game etc, think he had swore while playing for England as well. He sanitised his game and was never the same after that.
