Confirmed that in addition to Pepe, Portugal will be without Coentrão and Almeida for the US game. Will miss Coentrão for the remainder of the WC with a groin injury and Almeida for the group stage. http://www.businessinsider.com/coentrao-almeida-us-portugal-2014-6 Sent from my S4 using...

It wouldn't take that long. The amount of time spent flopping around on the ground would be greatly reduced.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS172L6Cmv8 Sure, some of that may be people who don't really care about soccer and are just part of the nationalism of it all. However, if this EXACT situation played out less than half of those people would have been in bars/watch parties. The reactions...

NBC bought the BPL from ESPN and has put a ton into making sure it's on tv. Every game last season was on tv or easily live steamed and all 10 Habra the final Sunday were on basic cable channels. NBC is doing great with it. sites shows edicated to the sport. They put a lot more money and effort...

World Cup Group G - Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

quality over quantity. US doesn't have the talent to beat a ton of teams playing fast and lose, which is why Klinsmann is implementing a sound and fundamental style of play...no flash just substance. The US was more than happy to let Ghana shoot from 30 yards all night long and it worked Sent...

World Cup Group G - Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

the sport is rapidly growing. many many years of ignorance needing to be overcome. those under 30 have a MUCH greater appreciation of the have than those over 30. I made my 14 month old cry, twice, celebrating. I made some guys from work watch this game and they enjoyed it much more than they...

World Cup Group G - Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

Not usually out of a group with two of the top 5 ranked FIFA teams though. I thought going in that 4 points would get real close to getting through and really thought the US could go 1-1-1 and get to 4. Beat Ghana, hopefully by 2 or 3. Draw Portugal Play Germany close That was my hope...

World Cup Group G - Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

There are some that don't like Klinsmann but I really like the attitude and style of play he's brought. One thing that the US needs, desperately, to do is to stop trying to mold the systems to fit all players in America. The US needs to pick a style of play and say either you fit this mold and...

What's your favourite U.S. sports team?

I grew up about 2 hours northwest of Storm Lake. If he graduated in 06 I probably missed him. I started in August 06 as a history major. I feel bad for him having to live in Omaha. that place makes me shutter just thinking of it. Sent from my S4 using Fapatalk so if there is typos deal with it.

What's your favourite U.S. sports team?

I was in school from 06-10. However, I lived in Cedar Falls until about 7 months ago. Still go back about once a month or so to visit friends as I only live about an hour away.

    New Kit?

Part of it is because of where I live but I can't find any Spurs gear within 12 hours of my house - that gets me to the Appalachian Mts on the East, Rockies on the West, nearly to Mexico South, Canada in the North. Not a single piece of Spurs gear. It's a struggle to find anything BPL here...

    Rule changes in football

Replay has worked amazingly well in American sports. Some hiccups in time of review or technicalities in how the rule was written but those cases pale in comparison to correcting calls Sent from my S4 using Fapatalk so if there is typos deal with it.

World Cup Group G - Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

Sadly I don't think we (USA) have much chance of getting out of group being with Portugal and Germany and we seemingly always struggle with African teams - especially Ghana. Having that said, IF we can get a win vs Ghana by 2 or 3 goals we might have a chance. I hope for a W vs Ghana and if we...
