    Dier did in an interview after he joined Bayern. So his experience would be limited to the first half season - could be that it was just a way for Ange to embed his setup early doors and since then that has changed but no way of knowing for sure either way.

    Met office says chance of rain and about 8⁰C for kickoff time. Wednesday it's saying 5⁰C so I guess there's scope for change. What will be different is that sunset isn't until 22.30pm (rising again at 3.30am lol) so we'll be playing a night game in broad daylight

    We've played the 3rd place team in Germany, they were brick. United just beat the 4th best team in Spain 3 nil away from home - there's no quality on the continent in comparison to the PL outside of a handful of CL teams

    It could be transformational for the club in the sense that it gets the monkey off our back but I don't think Ange is suddenly going to learn how to set a team up to play in the PL off the back of winning a tournament we have been favourites for from the outset

    There wouldn't be any of that in Bilbao, that's a preposterous notion imho - we saw in the build up to the Bodø home leg that the focus in and around the match was one of positivity and support for the team, despite the overall situation being what it is - that would only be ramped up for a final.
