    Fixture & Ticket News 2017/18

It would have been left to Spurs' to advise the Premier League. Worst part is that the FA originally created the Premier League because the Football League was thought to be becoming too powerful!

    Fixture & Ticket News 2017/18

Have you missed the fact that it's the Premier League who select the fixtures? Absolutely nothing to do with the FA.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

I'm pretty sure the club were struggling just to keep them working. Jumbotron screens were essentially made up of old style CRT TV screens, and stopped being manufactured over 10 years ago. These days large format screens are all made up of LED panels.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Looking at the latest photos I would expect a lot more to go on sale as the South stand has been completely stripped of seats before demolition. North, East and West were all pulled down with the remaining seats in place.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

The original email to season ticket holders said that those unsuccessful in the ballot would have first option to buy a seat taken from another area of the stadium. I guess those were the ones removed from the north-east corner last year, as all ST holders who were moved were offered their old...

    Clinton Njie

To me it just sounds like a deal that was heavily weighted in Spurs' favour. Marseille get the player on loan for a year, as long as they guarantee that they will take him permanently in the summer for a pre-agreed fee. However, if Spurs' think they can get more money or suddenly want the...

    Wembley 2017/18

I've probably been to Wembley 20+ times and have never queued for an hour to get on a train at Wembley Park afterwards. Can feel like forever when waiting, but it's never been more than half an hour of actually queuing. Until I started using Northumberland Park for WHL, the time from leaving...

    Wembley 2017/18

Boxholders at Wembley have a variety of different options. At the top of the scale they have their box for all of the events/games. But one end of the stadium is behind the stage for concerts so they don't get access. Some only have it for football events, and none have a right to use their box...

    Kyle Walker

I seriously think there's a chance he will be here next year, but I don't think this is an unsubstantiated rumour.

    Wembley 2017/18

Completely painless for me aside from a little bit of a wait. Plenty of decent seats available in all areas. I guess there's less pressure on the system without payments being processed.

    Wembley 2017/18

The pitch has more than been relaid since that semi final, it's a completely different type of pitch. They used to grow the turf elsewhere and bring it in on palettes. Now it's a Desso pitch with a mesh stitched through the entire pitch, 5% of the 'grass' is plastic and the rest grown in situ...

There are a few good ones on the Getty site if anyone has access.

    The Lane, The Finale

It really wasn't a 'song sheet sing-along' with the choir. The original Glory Glory Hallelujah, My Eyes Have Seen the Glory etc was sung by the fans for an extended period of the game. Plenty of 70s/80s/90s players got a song. We don't need anyone to lead us with videos etc! Good to hear 'I...

    Transfer speculation

The current restrictions on clubs signing non-EU players are UK specific rather than being defined by the EU, so there's no reason to think those will change. However, nobody can say for sure what will happen for European players yet. It's likely that the Premier League will be lobbying for...

I got the email and my seat is in the Park Lane Upper.

    Kyle Walker

You can see that there are briefings going out from both sides. You have a number of writers going with the story that Walker can't play more than one game in a week, and that he has issues in training. On the other side there are articles putting an emphasis on the player having no fitness...

    Fixture & Ticket News 2016/17

Heard a few people on Sunday saying they had been offered £400 for their ticket. Maybe that's what the professional touts are offering.

    Wembley 2017/18

In principle I agree with you, but for a lot of people this will feel like they're being exploited whether they want to renew or not. Football is far more emotive than most decisions on how to spend that disposable income. There are a lot of downsides for the year at Wembley, but most ST...
