    Season Ticket Renewal Talk

It's mainly because UEFA increased the height of their sponsor boards, but also due to the huge number of photographers that sit/stand behind each goal for Champions League games. The front few rows become heavily restricted view.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Around 2-3 years ago I spoke to someone from HP at a sports industry event, and he said something similar. Since our 90s shirt sponsorship, they haven't gone in for naming rights or pure sponsorship deals. They've inherited a few including Aurasma/Autonomy when they were our shirt sponsors...

    Clattenburg

Exactly. This version of his story completely ignored the fact that a number of Chelsea players should have been booked, and Costa possibly sent off before it all kicked off in the second half.

    Clattenburg

Fair enough if his point is that he was conscious of the profile of the game, and that he didn't want the quality of refereeing decisions to be perceived as having an influence on the title. However, he also had an opportunity, and failed to get control of the game before it boiled over. He...

    Fixture & Ticket News 2017/18

Lots of comments on here about how it's Sky's fault. While they're the broadcaster, and they get to request which games they want to show, surely this issue has been caused by the Premier League? Sky don't deal with the police or local authorities. Spurs know what the restrictions are for this...

    Wembley 2017/18

Two of the best were a Champions League Final and a League One Playoff, so two completely different ends of the quality scale.

    Wembley 2017/18

It can make a difference, but I've been to plenty of games at Wembley when the stadium is rocking, even without it being full. The attitude of the fans is a much more significant factor. The majority of our fans have already made up their mind that they don't like being there, so I expect the...

    Wembley 2017/18

The fans make the atmosphere in the stadium. At the moment the majority of fans aren't even trying. We had the place roaring when we started our Champions League games there last year, and the Chelsea game this season was pretty loud. Yesterday, the guy sitting next to me today was asleep...

    Fixture & Ticket News 2017/18

Only because they announce tickets issued rather than people through the turnstiles (even though that data is easily available at Wembley). I know a number of season ticket holders who didn't bother going despite having been signed up to 'Gold', but they could be in the minority. The top tier...

And similar to the equivalent game last year, which had the added attraction of being at WHL. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the actual number through the turnstiles was less than that figure.

    Booing? Come on!!!!

Where I was sitting the complaints were all about our finishing, no comments about the ref that I can remember. Plenty of booing that seemed more about dissatisfaction with the result instead of than being directed at anyone.

Mason was definitely promoted by Poch but the others were earlier.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

You'd have to show me some examples. I previously worked in football for a few years, so am only commenting on how our commercial teams appointed research agencies. The research is always paid for by someone, nearly always to drive sponsorship or broadcast revenue, and the agencies are usually...

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Why would anyone commission the research if it wasn't to drive some form of revenue for a team or the league? It's not like it has any impact on what happens in the pitch or in the stadium. What constitutes a 'fan' can be as tenuous as being a Twitter follower of a player who plays for the team.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

The main purpose of 'global fan base' stats is to convince sponsors to pay more money. It has a different meaning depending on which agency has been commissioned to produce the research (and who is paying for it).

I saw that in one of the premium bars they had self-pour beer taps with cashless payment. That's the future.

Developers who own the land around the stadium cashing in. They don't really want to provide any parking, but the planning conditions for the rest of their development requires them to provide a minimum number of spaces.

    Daniel Levy - Chairman

For me it's a only a minor part of the wider subject. Before this year England's record in the U20 World Cup was pretty shocking. In the 2013 version an England team with Harry Kane leading the line finished bottom of a group containing Iraq and Egypt. In 2011 England had three 0-0 draws in the...
