    Gareth Bale

Re: Gareth Bale £25m players (let alone 3 in the same window!) won't join us as we are not in the CL nor do we pay big wages.

    Bentley

No pace, no skill, even his set pieces turned out to be pretty rubbish. Glad to see the back of him. The only place I can see him being successful now would be on ITV2, he's born to be in The Only Way Is Essex.

Who was our best ever signing?

    *** Official TV Thread ***

Agreed. Its been poor since the mid season break in my opinion. The prison/governer story arc in the comic book was much better.

In the home end whilst away..

My first game was at the Dell in 1990 when I was 9. No Gazza and we lost 3-0. My Dad has always said it was an uncomfortable experience for him as I wouldn't stop shouting for us. Sat there for the same fixture in 91/92 won 3-2 and 94/95 lost 4-3. More recently Milan away. Was sat on my own...

What was your lowest point as a Spurs fan?

One that sticks out was losing to Liverpool early on in the 90-91 season. I was very young, we had Gazza & Lineker and we were unbeaten in our first few games of the season. I just couldn't comprehend us losing. My glory hunting, Liverpool supporting sister didn't help at the time either...

What was your highest point as a Spurs fan?

As already mentioned, 91 semi and final. The league cup wins. Crouch's winner. Games I attended, The Danny Rose goal. I was on such a downer after the FA cup semi defeat to Portsmouth a few days before and wasn't the only one who was expecting the worse against Arsenal. I think it was one...

    The Spurs Exodus Thread

QPR to stay up on final day of the season, Bentley to pour a bucket of water over Arry's head.....its written.

What I was thinking. Probably the biggest risk out of the 3, certainly highest earner. If I could only have one of those on loan it'd be Bentley.

    The Spurs Exodus Thread

Worth pointing out that a club can only have one player on loan from another club. In other words if QPR were to sign Bentley, Jenas and Townsend, then two would have to be permanent deals.

Didn't Dembele have a minimum release clause too? How else would we have tied up that deal so quickly!?

The All New Transfer Rumour Discussion Thread

As Milo said, the squad do get days off and France isn't exactly far. No different than Lennon or the Kyle's heading back home to the north on their days off really.

BAE has been going back to France on a regular basis for a long time. Always mentions he's there on Twitter.

Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

So Mansfield leave 96 seats empty in honour of Hillsborough yet Liverpool fans still sing "you're support is f*cking sh*t". Classy

    Sh1t Holes

Re: brick Holes Apologies. Only spent a day there to be fair. The town centre was dated and thought it was very dirty. The used condom that greeted me on the pavement just outside the train station wasn't an ideal start to my stay either. I'll try not to judge a book by its cover in future.

    Sh1t Holes

Re: brick Holes I live in Basingstoke. Spot on with the mentality, although I'm struggling to think what the second nightclub is?! I actually think its a decent enough town, its just some of the people that makes it a brick place to live at times.

    Your 2013 Checklist

Spent a bit of time in San Diego. Fantastic city. Looking to go back this year, possibly tying it in with Coachella. I'd also recommend Seattle if you're on the West coast. LA is indeed brick. Venice beach is worth a wander round I suppose, but wouldn't waste more than a day there.
