OMT - Tottenham vs. Inter Milan

Am I the only one that thinks the ITV/BBC lot are stuck in a time warp when it comes to analysing us? Dixon's talking about our lack of caution, and how we always go "pedal to the metal"...BBC pundits are always talking about what fantastic cavalier football we've been playing recently...im not...

Emmanuel Adebayor - Officially gone \o/

Yh, definitely...its a combination of a few factors, the circumstances in which he joined being paramount imo. Considering the saga that we went through to get him, the amount of money he is being paid, and his apparent lack of effort i think its understandable that people are going to...

Emmanuel Adebayor - Officially gone \o/

He's always kind of done this wide forward stuff tho...a legacy of the Arsenal/Henry days imo. Not saying its a fault, I think it helps bale alot, and helped VDV, but i dont think it can be used in relation to his goal tally, or general lack of goal threat. he could do alot better when he IS in...

Favourite players that play for other Premier League clubs

I was actually being serious...in that England-Brazil game I actually joined in the calling Wheelchair "Jack" stuff [after a few pints]. I think he's a twunt, but i do like the way he plays. I like the theory of Walcott, without actually rating him that much. Like someone said, i think he'd be...

    The Goon Thread

He did what he does every game: Run around, beat a couple of players in the middle of the park, before either - playing a lateral pass to someone in the acres of space his little run has created. [against teams that cant defend particularly well] or -running out of ideas, and unable to pick out...

    The Goon Thread

Im not so sure about that one...for all of our promise, and their regress, we're still fairly evenly matched. And they WILL make some changes this summer, especially if they dont have Champions League football, there is no way that they will let that happen and not do something about it...

I'd completely forgotten about that. I take back what i said. I hate that guy with a passion.

    The Goon Thread

I think this is where all of their "one man team" hatred for us comes from. Theyre very aware that they had a player last season who could do that for them, so theyre scared that it might have a similar good effect on us. I think the talk of finishing above Arsenal is all a bit...

    The Goon Thread

Im not so sure...its being painted as such, or as over-confidence, but it felt to me like an honest assessment of the importance of the fixture, related to last year. 'Last year they beat us and we crumbled, this year maybe we've done the same to them, things like that can happen in football'. I...

Emmanuel Adebayor - Officially gone \o/

I hear that, but work ethic isnt really one of his best qualities, judging on his career. I did just consider though that IF we get champions League we're going to need more than 2 strikers [again, presuming we're aiming to buy a top quality striker in the summer]...which means either gambling...

Emmanuel Adebayor - Officially gone \o/

Or he is a mediocre player who becomes a good player when super-confident, but doesnt have the ability to fall back on when he's not. Is it just me that thinks he looks alot better when we've scored? As if he feels that he's missing out on something, or he's taken it as a sign that the...

    Hugo Lloris

The thing that suprises me about him is his ability in the air...he looks like he should be one of those De Gea types [especially with that new haircut he had yesterday], but he's exactly the sort of keeper you want for 'West Ham away'.

Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Jesus, I remember Christian Ziege...the days when playing wing-backs was as cool as tiki-taka.

Yh, I imagine Barcelona are pretty angry at Wenger for telling them that he was as well.

Re: The Official Oh F*** Chelsea Destroyed Footie Thread feat. FSW We've finished 5th, 4th, 5th and 4th in the last four seasons, so I can only hope that that last bit is just more Chelsea bell-endery, and not a reasoned statistical prediction :-k

    Predict The Run In

I'm dont think that our run-in is as frightening [on paper] as people are suggesting, certainly not much worse than Chelsea's. I'd back us to be competitive in all of those games...the ONLY thing that worries me is that we've gone 12 games unbeaten, and I dont quite know how to interpret this...

Is Michael Owen now Britain's funniest man

I dont think its necessarily about an attitude towards the troops, more an attitude towards what the troops have been asked to do. As someone said, its possible to support soldiers without supporting the wars they fight in.
