Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

I don't know....that's why I simply called it turf in the first place lol

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Yes, that's the turf. Turf (astroturf) = NFL, Pitch (real grass) = football. Turf is usually short for Astroturf is it not? also, why would real grass need another layer to give it a natural feel? I clearly wasn't thinking the real grass was being laid :)

Final layers of the turf being put on now. Apparently there will be a layer above the green layer you can see which gives the turf surface the natural feel

The club only confirmed there were no plans to name the stands after former players or managers, not that they wouldn't be named.

I'm still of the opinion that the photos above of the supposed safe standing seats at NWHL are not actually safe standing seats. The whole purpose of safe standing seats is to prevent people from being able to push forward from their allocated row. Those NWHL seats clearly do not prevent that...

That's partly why the south stand concourse and the podium area are such a focus for fan congregation. I suspect before the game you'll be directed not to loiter around there, either enter to the west stand atrium or head to the north/south areas. And of course post game the road will be closed off

I was going to post that then realised the west entrance has been updated since those renders so they are out of date.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

The lift is complete. The roof structure itself is far from complete obviously, but it's at the full height now. There is now a tensioning process/period of what I've heard is about 4 weeks (not sure if this can be sped up or anything) which ensures the cables can support the weight they need...

The opening will be as on the schematics.

Cameras are in the west stand, front of the upper tier. Behind the benches.

    Season Ticket Renewal Talk

If you're just comparing the most expensive season ticket offered from each club, yes we're now the highest. Given our lowest is also one of the highest for each club's cheapest offering, our average season ticket is probably up there too.
