Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Just bumping my post from 25Aug24 on page 188, where I was mentioning that we need to rotate the squad fully to avoid injuries.

OMT: Spurs v Chelsea Thursday, 8pm at Stamford Bridge

I am ever hopeful. GHod help me, I shall be sat here expectantly. Though I genuinely wonder if we can keep a clean sheet for the first minute with no panics and no scary moments; that would be a boost and an improvement on recent performances.

    Ange in or out?

A bold claim, written right after they lose. He seems average, meh, fine, whatever. There are lots of managers that are fine. I see Brighton keep losing. Apparently they didn't win a home game all year and sold their manager Potter to Cheatski for £22m. Iraola keeps losing too. Fulham's...

    ENIC

Agreed, you're right, I realised that today. Spurs are posting losses, but a lot of the deductions don't count towards PSR, so we are absolutely fine in PSR terms, and thus if Spurs (Levy) had (or finds an investor with) hundreds of millions, we could invest that money if we could reliably claim...

Back to the subject of Spurs. We lost £26m last year and the year before we lost £87m so that is £113m lost in 2 years. We're allowed to lose £150m every 3 years. So surely even if Daniel had huge backers, we can't invest (i.e. lose) much more than we are already. What we need to do is buy...

Qatar have invested hundreds of millions in London, buying the Shard and all the top hotels and restaurants, and are definitely looking to invest many tens of millions more each year in LONDON (not other cities). So if Qatar buys Spurs it will be a small investment for them, even if it costs...

    Ange in or out?

Agreed, and I'd like to direct a huge "I TOLD YOU SO" at those posters that disagreed with me when I said umpteen times at the start of the season that we needed to rotate more, and that players were being flogged until they broke. And @thfcsteff please stop it with the Captain Hindsight...

When will it all crumble? Does anyone pay money to Swiss Ramble to get his full breakdown on club's spending?

Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

Nonsense. Man United will buy expensive, older players. Wait, er... OK, sell them to yourself for immediate profit and amortise the payments out and ...er... build a circus tent, right?

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

So...you think there were surprisingly few watchers, that are children of those murdered during the holocaust, I wonder why. Clearly, GB meant we should pay respect to the horrors of the holocaust and avoid trivialising them.

Walker definitely cost us goals with silly decisions, diving in, tackling through the back of a player when there was no need. We got rid of him and bought Aurier, who was twice as bad at those same things. FML.

I doubt a 22 year old geezer wants a flat in the middle of Brittany. He was only there for 6 months. If it was Ibiza or something he'd be more interested. By the time he retires, he should have tens of millions, no need to rent out some crappy flat in Rennes to an angry Frenchie
