    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United ** 16/2/25 - KO at 4.30pm.

Absolutely. Obviously don't know if injuries or fitness played a part in that, but starting ahead of Bissouma and Sarr. And put in what I thought looked both a mature and very good performance.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United ** 16/2/25 - KO at 4.30pm.

Decent performance. The week off and players back obviously makes a difference. A bit too vulnerable defensively and had periods where we couldn't get out. Really could have created more too. But still, decent. Another midweek off will continue to do us more good imo. Still quite a way off our...

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United ** 16/2/25 - KO at 4.30pm.

Expecting a better performance with a midweek off, hopefully some more actual options on the bench. Not expecting free flowing full power mode Ange ball from our best games under him. But a more cohesive and energetic performance would be my expectation. Need some of our bigger names to step up...

    Ange in or out?

I agree you can't say that there were no other options. I think you can say that there were no other options Ange trusted. Seems pretty obvious that he doesn't trust Reguilon and didn't trust Lankshear. Can discuss or even disagree if it was right not to trust them... Or trust them that...

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United ** 16/2/25 - KO at 4.30pm.

I think something like that is quite likely. Outfield players returning from injuries most likely on the bench to come on rather than risk them from the start. Depending on when and how they've looked when returning. May see Kinsky start too and give Vic another week too.

    Ange in or out?

Ange hasn't used every tool. He's far from the only manager that applies to, I think it applies to just about every manager in different circumstances. He probably has his reasons, reasons more or less unknown to us. It's very easy from the outside to call that out, but not knowing the...

    Dejan Kulusevski

I guess we'll see in the next couple of games if a couple of weeks without a midweek game makes any difference. Personally I think it will make some difference, but back to "fresh" not so sure.

    Ange in or out?

Just guessing here, but I think they've played close to as much football as its possible during this period. Kulusevski rested for some of the Tamworth game, Porro for the Liverpool game. We use words differently, but if close to the maximum possible is still within "normal" (however or defines...

Tired minds, tired bodies. But also for the Villa game for example with 4 (?) teenagers starting. First start for Tel. Still a rather rare start for 17 year old Moore. Bergvall imo has weaknesses in his positional game. These factors weren't there in the first part of the season and the system...

    Ange in or out?

I have nothing against using facts or stats as a starting point. But it matters what facts and stats one choose and how one interprets them. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/02/10/postecoglou-tottenham-players-two-days-off-for-reset/ When talking about fatigue over the last couple of...

    Dejan Kulusevski

He has been and looked worse for it. Still one of those up there at least with a shout of being our player of the season. But along with Porro he's played too much in recent months. Hopefully we'll see him closer to his best in the coming weeks.

    Squad

Agreed and think it's probably natural in the summer to focus on a small number of players that are thought to be more ready made. We need a DM that's also a deep playmaker type imo. A traditional destroyer that's not good on the ball won't work.

    Luka Vuskovic

Pretty much fully agreed. If there is nobility in playing and developing young players that's not enough. It will take time with some of these young players, but getting the development of these players right is one of the most important things at the club right now.

    Ange in or out?

Agreed. I also think the data since November supports the eye test on this, but it's not really necessary. And even if some players can play that much and keep performing consistently, doesn't mean that everyone can. Players have different physical characteristics, different roles. We've...

Would be good with some more clarity from Ange on the VdV and Romero injury situations. Even if it is "we don't quite know, may be a week may be a month". Him not even being on the bench after playing 45 minutes against Elfsborg seems a bit strange on the surface at least.

    Squad

Should be our biggest priority come the summer, imo along with a dribbly winger, but the latter one somewhat dependent on what happens with Odobert, Moore and I guess maybe Tel? If we could sign only one established, slots right in, somewhat experienced player that 6 role would be it.

    Squad

Absolutely. It's a role he may end up being great in, but until we actually see him play there regularly no way to know how well he will do there now. Him getting a bit of a rest makes a lot of sense to me. Will get a bit of that anyway now with a couple of weeks with just one game, so who...

    Pedro Porro

How good would Spence, or anyone, look having more or less played 90 minutes twice a week for a couple of months with a disjointed team around them? I rate Spence very highly and he offers a lot of quality. In terms of quality passing, long passing and crossing Porro is a stand out in this...

    Daniel Levy - Chairman

Yes. Get a manager in that fits the overall structure and approach well enough, then adjust somewhat to where the entire club has the required structure in place around the manager. Still think Ange is a good fit...

    Cristian Romero

The same Romero who seemingly played with an injury/niggle earlier this season? The same Romero who was in the starting lineup against Chelsea even though he probably wasn't fully fit? The same Romero who always leaves everything in every duel on the pitch?
