    Ange in or out?

Great points, and if he was 'subverted' early I'd have expected him to either quit or threaten to quit at that moment.

    Ange in or out?

Do you honestly believe he thought he ever would be, given he rejected us that summer? My point about Conte was always that he would blow the whistle and call it the moment he felt it. He didn't. He sat and waited for his moment, throwing everyone under the bus in the process. He was NOT what he...

    Ange in or out?

Where has Ange wanted 'cheque book support' like the other two? I remember him suggesting reinforcements were important in January due to circumstances.

    Ange in or out?

...once he'd had enough of taking our money. He never wanted to be here. He came for the money. His reputation was always that he spoke his truth quickly and was unafraid to up and walk. Well that certainly was not the case with us. The way he engineered his eventual departure was shocking.

    Ange in or out?

I wish the clam had stuck with the truth he knew when he initially turned the job down, or at the very least had the decency to tell the truth and quit the first time the club did something he didn't want (Djed Spence).

    Ange in or out?

If you did end up wanting to blame people mate, you'd be better off looking above him IMO.

    Ange in or out?

I am not one who believes he is the answer. You can talk about the form the last 4 months of the 2018/19 season and the first two of the next. And when you do, as ever, context is everything.

    Ange in or out?

He clashed with part of the ownership core and would not back down/shut up/be a puppet. He did some great work there. If he'd stayed they'd have absolutely pushed for the title this season. We should be grateful!

    Dominic Solanke

I think he was a good 10-15 mill overrated/inflated by our need for a 9. When you look at his wages, it tells you he is a really good forward but not elite.

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Yeah, and the moment Ange is grumpy and tetchy, then he's a clam. If the players complain about lack of atmosphere or abuse or whatever, they're clams. You cannot have it both ways!!!! BTW, you're assuming that they are not themselves trying to work out WTF is not happening out there. I have...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

I find it telling that your response got no recognition beyond me. Personally, I think it says a lot about where we are in 2025. There is a worringly decreasing amount of decent old-fashioned humanity circulating. I maintain that more than ever, people in the field of sports and entertainment...

    Dominic Solanke

I think right now it's a little unfair to fully define who/what Solanke is as a striker. Currently he is our only hold-up forward. Usually, Deki shares that load and brings a considerable physical presence to the game, which somewhat allows Solanke a little more freedom. No excuses for anything...

Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

@lurker of old fancy going again for Thursday's OMT? I'll follow-up again with a Fat Tom and Mouldy Custard pic set...

    Thanks for posting. Great piece.

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

These are, indeed, incredible times in that regard. To see a whole economic system dynamically thrust upon the world and then effectively battered into submission within four decades is staggering.

    Ange in or out?

It would appear that is the way it will go, however there might be something weirder than what's already around if it goes south again tomm?

    Ange in or out?

The question I was answering was specifically about the Soton game. It is clear his goose is cooked.
