Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Of course Levy couldn't sack him as he was doing a good job. But everything Harry did was against the way Levy likes to work. I think what Redknapp did re: the England job and essentially losing focus with us was terrible. He did it to himself. The Rosie stuff too...I think he dealt the...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

It was always Kemsley who wanted Redknapp/was his mate. He looked to try and line him up when BMJ was potentially flirting with Saudi Sportswashing Machine as I understand it, and when Ramos got sacked, it was Kemsley who convinced Levy Redknapp was the right man to get us out of a short-term mess. So yes, some...

    ***OMT*** Tottenham...Thursday Night In Frankfurt

Romero has been magnificent on the ball and sticking up for us/in the ref's ear. We need to dark arts this a bit; they can implode. The timing of our subs will be vital. A fine first-half!

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

When we initially got him it was because Paul Kemsley kept telling Levy that Redknapp was the only guy who could get a short-term spark. As I remember it the plan was never for Harry to be long-term, but the better he did, the harder it was to move him on. Let's just say that I don't think...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

My take is that IF Munn is behind sticking with Ange (something I believe), then he needed to do better BY Ange when the injury crisis was looming. Ange has already commented that some of the summer stuff should've been reevaluated (I suspect either making one experienced shortish term signings...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Got it matey. I see that, but would love to see us circumvent the cyclic nature of how we have operated in order to maybe not break an incoming manager. At this point, how do we measure progress? I suppose from where we are now? Or even a couple of years ago? Personally, if the club and...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

OK? I am not sure the point I was making in my initial reply was clear? I was saying with respects of Jol, Redknapp and Poch that our board/footballing directorship chewed them up in the end via one avenue or another (Redknapp is the outlier as he was a short-term appt who exceeded expectations...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Of the ones you list, we shafted Jol (who might've taken us as far as he could've anyway), Redknapp was a short-term appointment who ended up doing so well we didn't know whether to back him or not and it ended up going to the Deep South (several reasons), and Poch? Yes. Poch is the outlier, but...

    Ange in or out?

I remember it clearly!!!! It was absolutely prevalent, here too. I will say (again) I was one of the few who did not. I actually couldn't believe it, and STILL think that scraping 4th that season as well as getting to the final was an incredible, incredible achievement. He was taken for granted.

    Ange in or out?

So have I. Brazil, Argentina, all over Europe...in South America, I find the levels of noise/abuse are much more 'general' and aimed at everyone/everything. Here, we specialise in targeted, sustained, and personal abuse of specific targetted people as well as general stuff (which I agree is not...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Mate...his level of ability is not even in discussion for me. He is exactly the type of manager we chew up and spit out. Bournemouth is one thing. We are a whole other level, and I'm not necessarily driving the 'bigger club' thing, I mean in terms of expectation vs support vs model vs fan...

    ***OMT*** Tottenham...Thursday Night In Frankfurt

I sadly don't think we have the stones as a club to fight to win this trophy. We might get through here but I just cannot see how we find the fortitude. Never have I wanted to be proven wrong so much by Spurs.
