*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers ***

I'd say that the key is in the trust of that relationship. Plenty of good managers work with upper management well. Look at Clop, albeit he had to 'break' them re: Coutinho and force them to make sure the money was reinvested (this after convincing them it was best to sell him). Not even Poch...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers ***

Back in the winter I'd like to have seen more 'placed' media with Lange/Munn outlining the process. In January, we should've had further attaking signings lined up IMMEDIATELY, not just cheap risk-free punts in the last mins of the window.Having got Kinsky so quickly it was expected. Last summer...

It is the big question. I am someone who absolutely wanted the manager to have at least three quarters of his full squad back to see what we could do then, I won't shy away from that, however I have consistently been critical of the Munn/Lange affair and how they have basically left Ange out to...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers ***

I actually hold a huge -and I mean HUGE- amount of contempt and anger towards Levy, Munn, and Lange. Their 'stewardship' during Ange's time here has been every bit as naive as the manager's, and they have consistently left Ange out to dry/take the brick/suck it up. For me, unless there is a...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers ***

We are absolutely rudderless. How we got here will remain a topic of conversation on this forum quite possibly for several years, but here we are, rudderless. The manager is unable to affect games and unwilling to compromise his 'ideals' for points, the players seem estranged from each other (as...

This is just shambolic. We were playing better with half the squad out. There are some phoning it in IMO, and that cannot be allowed.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

He is PART of a situation which has put us in the second group. PART of. I think it is wholly inaccurate to suggest he is the sole reason this season is happening.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Mate. Please. I know you don't miss an opportunity, but how about avoiding flat-earth country.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs Eintracht Frankfurt

It is interesting because somewhere in there, it feels like he lacks the deep-level consistent confidence necessary to fulfil his potential. It affects his decision-making as well as his pace of play. On Thursday, in the first few minutes he received the ball in positions on the left where there...

The Game Is About Glory Podcast

Yes indeed! The context is that we debated whether Johnson's weekend goal against Soton was a 'thunderbastard' :-)...oh how I wish he'd thunder-fudging-bastarded it in on Thursday with an almost duplicate chance.

    Agreed. Infuriating.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs Eintracht Frankfurt

The best thing for us would be them going for it more. Yes, it will be nervy if they go for it, but there will be spaces for us to play at pace into.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs Eintracht Frankfurt

I think it is all about our intent and confidence. First-half, especially the first 20 mins, we were callow other than you-know-who. Second-half, led by the continued verve of you-know-who, we finally started to find our psych. I think having Deki on the bench will be massive...Romero continues...

    Ange in or out?

That's my point. Ndombele was the only larger money signing we made who got (at that time) large money wages (it was a baffling deal in many senses, 55 million quid signing yet 200k a week!!!!! Both Solanke and Richy cost more to sign yet are on 90k a week. We really don't do big big wages too...

    Ange in or out?

More accurate is to say that it has been said repeatedly on this forum that he needs a fully fit squad of players over a reasonable period of for a judgement to be made. Not sure about your 'xyz' thing, and at any rate, HE has not said that has he. If you don't understand the Conte discussion...
