    Scott Munn

That's fair. The women's team is perhaps the exception there. Cullen has got the title even though to me Munn owns the entire thing. However, on stadium sponsorship, F1 karting etc the club has done well with the 3 amigos. I want to see everyone accountable for better football results...

    Scott Munn

It was actually something Munn said in an interview that I'm still pondering over. He basically said that his exec colleagues remind him that the commercial side make the revenues and the football operations team spends them. Now that might be true for NFL or the go-karting, but the reason our...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Our job in the January transfer market is to buy the right players for the long term and we only have 31 days to do it. We delivered 3 new signings who, at this time, all look like they match that criteria. Of course, they might turn out to be duds but you have to roll the dice. I'm just not...

    ***OMT*** Tottenham...Thursday Night In Frankfurt

What you say is the frustrating part. We've had so many full-backs who can't cross the ball. Now we have one who can, he is declining the opportunity. I'm not sure it is all on him though.

    Scott Munn

I hope Levy remains brave in his decisions to evolve the executive roles at the club. What is interesting is that all the talk is about Munn, but why should the roles of Collecott, Cullen and Caplehorn not be totally questioned? They sit as board members and are involved in the club's key...

Absolutely hated that when I was a home and away England fan in the past.

    ***OMT*** Tottenham...Thursday Night In Frankfurt

I think there would have to be an adjustment to Porro's game though. He just cannot keep declining the right time to cross the ball. It is so frustrating. I would love Ange to tell these guys to get the ball in. Porro misses that golden moment 9 times out of 10 and just passes short or comes...

    Ange in or out?

I've always thought that great football brains and great attitudes to your chosen profession gets you a long way. I bet Ange has a way of finding these characters in all the leagues he's managed. Where I've always pondered is whether the football brains at the PL level are pretty much the same...

    Ange in or out?

Great post. Wasn't sure whether you were talking about Kaizen above or not. I remember that well. Was that eighties/nineties? I don't agree with the last bit though. In my opinion, good managers have a great system. However, great managers work at all times with what resources they have and...

Thanks for typing it. It's nice to see that amongst the craziness of Ange's tactical system, fans still realise there are way more chapters in the manager's playbook that he chooses not to adopt. Your team is so logically good for a EL away game. We both know it won't happen. I have my...

    Ange in or out?

I think it's a bit strong to be calling him that but I do think there is a logical argument here. Ange approached our job with the wrong mentality. He should have come in and had a healthy dose of humility, knowing that Levy had given him a great career opportunity. He could have approached the...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Yeah, know nothing about Rusk. Hence why I could never build a case for him over Ange. Poor old Ruud has had a tough, tough time at Leciester though. Whilst believing that Ange is out of his depth at Spurs, I still have a curiosity to see how he would do in the English game at another club...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Serious question, but is Ange the worst manager currently in the PL? I can only think of RVN, Rusk or Juric where I could build a case that they aren't better equipped for the Spurs job. I can imagine we would have been in much better shape with Emery or Howe as our manager.

    ***OMT*** Tottenham...Thursday Night In Frankfurt

We will win on Thursday. Sunday's performance is not relevant to the EL. We proved last week we are superior to Frankfurt. The footballing gods will shine on us this week.

    Ange in or out?

Definitely. Redknapp was a master at letting his best players go to work on the opposition. When you have a Ledley, Modric, Bale etc in your team magic can happen. I do fear though that Ange's system can make some pretty decent players look ordinary. We can talk about centre halves all day, but...

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs Eintracht Frankfurt

I'd like to see the 4-2-3-1 where the 3 interchange laterally. Poch used to have Sonny on the left but Eriksen and Dele had a real understanding and could switch positions seamlessly. We could do that with Kulu and Madds and let someone like Johnson give the width. I'm pretty sure Johnson would...

    Ange in or out?

That was actually quite thought provoking. Ange showed us he couldn't even make a simple formation change that managers make up and down the country every single weekend. Some even make it in the middle of games. I couldn't figure out how it was so difficult for Ange.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Was trying to remember what he was like when he played the attacking right channel for Leicester. You can't surely operate like he does now in that position. Makes me wonder what would happen if we change the left right bias of Madds and Bergval and switch them around. Like Sarr, Bergval does...
