    Archie Gray

Archie played close to 50 games last season. As an 18 year old, he then had to play for months and months for us without a break. I can genuinely see why we would take him out of the firing line. We don't want another Sess on our hands. Saying that, it's probably about time to get him involved...

    Ange in or out?

Just shows that it only takes a couple to coast through games to make the difference between winning and losing. When I think back to that 90 mins, I could honestly see guys like Tel, Odobert, Sarr etc trying to prove they're worth a start in the semi-final. Compare that to a player like...

Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Nah, the Walker / Naughton deals were already agreed when Harry accepted the job. He had nothing to do with them. In fact, Naughton became the stereotypical Spurs squad player. Harry wouldn't admit that the club needed to sell him as he wasn't up to it. He just kept leaving him in the squad...

On reflection you are right in most aspects. However, if we have a manager who cannot setup a defence, we deserve to lose most games. It's why I remain positive about our future. Most of the ingredients are there. We just need better coaching.

Wasn't it him that just wrestled Solanke to the ground on the touchline?

lol - you got the last bit wrong. He always says "I'm not sure how many semi-finals this club has been in over the years" just to have a little pop.

I was a massive advocate of Archie getting a rest after what he put his body through for our club mid-season. It's perhaps now time to get him more involved.

It's games like these where I think that we shouldn't offer Bents a new contract. If he remains, we will keep kidding ourself that he can come good eventually. He never has done after the injuries.

Wouldn't that be great. Spurs shifting to a 4-4-2 and disrupting Forest's system. Ain't gonna happen, Ange never read that chapter of the manager playbook.

yep.....gave himself an extra week in Miami after Levy schooled his brother. Charlie thought he was a super agent. Levy kicked his arse that summer.

He was at the heart of that one. If he had got behind Nuno and adopted his tactics, like he did with Jose and Conte, things could have panned out differently. I could have throttled him at WHL in the infamous Utd game before the sacking.

As I keep saying, the defenders and defending system focus is always the "line" not the "marker". You see it over and over again. If Ange just let the players do what comes naturally they would defend properly. He doesn't. You don't see Forest obsessing about the line. They obsess about...

It was the players that needed sacking. They refused to play for Nuno and you could tell the ring leader was the England captain. The players didn't give the man a chance and the fans stupidly fell for it and blamed the manager, not the players. That dressing room was toxic.
