    US AGAINST THE WORLD COYS

This thread is what I needed, thanks @thfcsteff I agree that we are definitely going to win the treble, which will give us the chance to sing a song I have been trying to get going for about a year now - I feel like this thread is the best place to share it. To the tune of Cliff Richard's...

    Mikey Moore

This was actually the most impressive thing for me, slowing the game down deliberately to manage the tempo. The skill and dribbling will come with more regularity I'm sure, as evidenced at Everton.

    OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Hoffenheim

Thankfully Leicester are also complete brick and Elfsborg is surely winnable too, by which point players start coming back.

    OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Hoffenheim

Well yes it wasn't awful in the circumstances (hence "take the three points and move on") but it was still stressful how vulnerable we looked throughout, which is quite exhausting at this point I'm also having a brick week which admittedly isn't helping my attitude to Spurs Cannot wait for...

    OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Hoffenheim

A decent side scores 3 or 4 against us there. I'm normally pretty positive but we are looking absolutely spent at the minute and were out of that game for long periods.

    OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Hoffenheim

PSG would have annihilated this team, but point taken.

    OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Hoffenheim

Terrible performance but take the three points and move on. Another win on the weekend would be huge.

I maintain hope for a miraculous turnaround in our fortunes but it does feel increasingly remote.

    Ange in or out?

Yesterday's result had nothing to do with Moyes and everything to do with the absolute disgrace that was whatever that 3-4-2-1 brick was. I've never seen a more obviously underprepared tactical approach in any game ever. It was quite obvious that we'd never practiced that shape and it showed as...

    Injuries

Surely all these injured players who have been out for months will be well rested for the run in? Or am I just deluded? That's assuming they don't suffer an immediate recurrence of course.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

We were winning consistently at the start of this season, before everyone got injured.

    Richarlison

I think people forget how many goals he got when he was fit and on form last season, pretty sure he had 9 in 11 at some point playing through the middle. Would be so valuable to be able to rest Solanke and have that sort of output to call on.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Romero, last month: Romero told Telemundo: "He's a great coach. We saw it in the first season. In this second one we've suffered a lot of injuries. ... "We are very happy with this staff, me and my colleagues. We love how they work and the football they try to play. We'll try to move on...

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Expensive Stoke***

Dragusin is a huge drop off from Romero on the ball, especially against a team with such a well-organised press. Really cannot wait to see him and VDV or even Davies back, which would also allow Gray to move into midfield where the only player on form at the moment is Bergvall.

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Expensive Stoke***

We were terrible in the first half so maybe it was just the improvement from a very low base. At least we had some territory in the second half, we just couldn't find the final ball. To their credit the filth defended well.

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Expensive Stoke***

A lot of kneejerking going on here. We were quite good in the second half? We lost due to one of the worst corner decisions of all time. Move on.

    Lucas Bergvall

Pretty sure he will start, there is a reason he was on the bench yesterday.

They also gave a debut to 16 year old Toni Fernandez the other day who is rated similarly highly. Mad.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

If this is true, why did the home advantage basically disappear during COVID?
