    So basically, he's gone. Just a matter of how much now. Needles to say his departure will weaken Liverpool considerably, can't see them making the top 4 next season without him. Madrid's and Barca's front line next season is going to be ridiculous.

    Argentina haven't been great but at the same time they have not been all that bad. Whenever a team parks the bus to the degree and consistency that Iran have done it's always to be difficult to break them down, no matter who you are.

    Apparently there is a release clause in his contract that states if Barca or Madrid come in for him then he will be allowed to leave for £52m. If anyone else comes in for him the release clause is £70m.
