    OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Richmond/Crystal Palace - Sunday 27th October 14:00 ***

I guess you can interpret his determination to do things "his way" as arrogance. But then all the great managers are probably arrogant. People on here talk about him learning from his mistakes, but he's been managing a long long time and sticks to his way of playing, no matter what. We are stuck...

    Cristian Romero

Is there something about the travel back from Argentina that makes him less switched on after International games? Will he back tomorrow or will it be Friday when he's back in training? Not much time to adjust to our timezone before Saturday lunchtime. We can only hope he doesn't forget to mark...

    OMT *** TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V WEST HAM *** Sat 19 Oct 2024 • 12:30PM Tottenham Hotspur Stadium •

We need the points, Ange needs a win after the Brighton fiasco, the team need to prove they are not flaky. Vicario will let in a couple from corners but a second half fightback will see the mighty Spurs edge victory in a surprisingly tight-fought game.

    Females at football

"now is my chance to belittle the notion of sexism via an un-ironic Alan Partridge impression, this is the time and the place." Some people do like to pile in, don't they? I was trying to say there is a clear difference between what people may think privately, about issues such as gender and...

    Females at football

there is a lot of sexism around football that doesn't necessarily always manifest itself in this way but helps feed into it. Not sure I agree with the last bit. I believe that the women's game is less attractive and I hate hearing some female commentators. Clearly I'm sexist. But I wouldn't...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

This "we lack elite mentality" may be true, but if Kulu and madders are outstanding attackers but don't have a defensive skillset and aptitude, then putting someone else on the pitch, who does have a defensive skillset, might help. As for seeing this loss as somehow a positive part of the...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Reading "Ange Ball", a biography about Ange (well worth it, a really good read), it's clear he has talked to many people in the game over the years. But perhaps a perspective he could learn from is American football. One team to attack, one team to defend. Get the game won with the attacking...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Anyway the games a bad memory now hahahah onwards and all that stuff... I wish it was. Woke up around 3.00am last night absolutely fuming with the result, and specifically Ange's decision not to change things on the pitch till it was too late. There was a game at the Lane (West Ham last year??)...

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton - Sunday 6 October at 4.30 pm **

The team who played against Brighton are fantastic in attack and that's clearly where their strength is. Ange moaned about the players accepting their fate, but he did exactly the same. Bringing on subs when we are behind is daft, he needs to be proactive.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton - Sunday 6 October at 4.30 pm **

Ange is a fantastic attacking coach but his fabled -and genuine- stubbornness will prove his undoing. Is it reasonable to expect an attacking four of Kulu, Maddison, Brennan and Werner to be able to defend well? No. Not one is a tough, gritty, hard tackling midfielder. So when we are under the...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I do find it concerning that Ange can't see or can't admit that he needed to make subs and failed - saying it was because we didn't compete, well yes, that's true as far as it goes but if the team are struggling, the manager needs to step in and make substitutions............we've all seen this...

    OMT *** Spurs vs – Ferencváros (A) – Thu 3 Oct 5.45pm UK / 6.45pm Budapest***

The Spurs web site is starting to annoy me. It says on the Match Centre that ko is 5.45 our time, while having 16.45 at the top of the page. It even had the time of the NLD wrong, a few weeks ago. They are full on with selling kit etc but can't seem to get the basics right.

    ENIC

I'm not totally sure how an investor would help us, unless it would reduce the borrowing for the hotel. I can't see us raising the percentage of turnover we spend on wages. What would we gain?

    Homophobic Chanting at Old Trafford

Anyone know what the chant was? I wondered if it was the vile Campbell chant referring to HIV? Not sure if it is homophobic but certainly grossly offensive, and the one chant I would be happy never to hear again.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Son, Kulu, Romero, despite his goals Johnson, Maddison, Sarr, Bissouma, have all be playing way below par for months now. Hmmn is all I can say, are you sure about that??
