    The transfer thread

I had a closer delve into his more recent numbers at EF and PSG. EF - 40 goal involvements is 43 games in 22/23 (23G 17A). I actually love the fact he has heavy assist numbers aswell, shows a constant involvement in the game rather than someone who ‘just’ scores at the end of a move. (Watkins...

    The transfer thread

I don’t see any right footed player playing on the right and scoring more than Johnson. If we’re spending big I’d rather get an inverted type who could score close to 20. Like Son has done the other side for many years. It may be that Odobert is a bit more 2 footed and can play right and Muani...

    Ange in or out?

Well, we tried the so called best in the business and that didn’t work.

    Sergio Reguilón

I’m holding off of the love in. His frantic style and lack of end product was not deemed good enough on the back of many many starts. Potentially a useful back up to Udogie but nothing more.

    Ange in or out?

It’s been pretty widely reported that it was a different injury for Cuti. That’s just bad luck and not Ange’s fault.

    Ange in or out?

That’s exactly what we should do. And if he can’t build some momentum or get the full squad playing well at the back end of the season then we should consider things more seriously.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine FC ***

It’s ok everyone saying the rules were applied for their first goal. But 9/10 the ref blows up on field. The fact he didn’t is because it’s Spurs and the easy thing to do is give the decision to the momentum media darlings - Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I like the fact he’s called out the refs. They’ve been on easy street with us for a while….Spence committed 2 offences the other day and got 2 yellows.

Be surprised if Gray isn’t first choice number 6 and in an England squad by the start of next season.

So you want us to be a long ball team?

A lesson in how to manage a lead here if nothing else.

I don’t know why are choosing to play out down the left. Both Gray and Spence are blunted by being right footed and have no natural out ball.

Says who. My expectation is zero. I’ll leave this game with no more or less favour towards Ange or the players regardless of result.

Problem is as a keeper coming in you really want a tight game with few chances. Pretty much the polar opposite to what we’re serving up so he will be in the spotlight and tested probably every 5/10 minutes.

Totally agree on the trajectory of our targets. They need to be on the up, and around early to mid 20s. The likes of Cunha, Kudus etc fit the bill, but would be too expensive for us.

    The transfer thread

Cost them 40m and has 3.5 years left. I’d say we need to be finding the next Kudus, but I fear we did our money in that position on Odobert.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

You think I’m referring to those 2? Sorry if it wasn’t plainly obvious to you I was referring to Pep, Klopp and Arteta. I don’t get the point of the chart.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Can I ask what the logic is in comparing Ange against managers with near unlimited transfer spends/wages?

    Ange in or out?

I’ll try and clear that up. Using the Nuno context from my original post; I’m referring to those who see some short term success over the fence playing a certain way and all of a sudden decide our way isn’t worth working through. It seems we have those fans that would be happier if we flipped...

It’s chaotic in here. I think I’m going to sign off until we beat Saudi Sportswashing Machine.
