Arsenal are beyond reproach though…. Played like peak Pulis Stoke today. Got what they wanted though I guess, hope they lose the league by 1 or 2 points

I feared that might be the case, massively embarrassing for our fans if true.

Think Moyes was right about the 2nd pen, it’s actually a foul by Gordon. He obstructs the player kicking the ball away. Didn’t think about that on first viewing.

Just seen the Chelsea pen! Unbelievable, what is the point in VAR if they’re not correcting errors like that? And then to send the player and manager off!! Amazing.

What was with the cupping of the ear celebration yesterday?

    Cheatski are still scum

That xg stat is massively slanted by penalties. You could barely deserve a pen yet when it’s given the xg is like 0.8 or something. Think they’ve had a few if memory serves?

very similar to the Palace game. Well worthy of the win, really should have been more. Have to stop giving that first goal away though.

Some strawman arguments being thrown around here isn’t there?! Pep produced / City produced, whatever, it doesn’t really matter it has no bearing on the discussion. If he didn’t rate them he wouldn’t have played them, especially at such a young age. That’s the point, not getting hung up on...

His record at youth level seems to be really good. I’m definitely not writing him off yet, people saying Lankshear should be ahead of him is well premature imo, had Scarlett been playing in the Spurs youth team there’s nothing to suggest he wouldn’t be scoring even more.

    I don’t think that’s been disputed?

Which comes back to the manager again rather than a lack of quality players. As Bedford says the balance of talent isn’t quite right with England but that’s what the managers their to “balance”, coach and build a system to get the best out of them. Kind of how Argies were able to win the last...

Well yea, produced meaning they came through at City whilst under Pep….

Fair enough, only you will know what you meant by Pep not falling over himself to buy English players though, i took it to mean you saying he wasn’t interested in buying English. I reckon the list provided contradicts that but maybe you would have expected him to buy more than he has?
  19. Gazza Dazzla

Think the claim was that Pep wasn’t interested at all in English players, the responses have just been to that claim. He clearly does have some interest.

So he’s bought 4 regular England players, produced 2 in Foden and Palmer (not regular yet but he’s in the squad on merit this season), priced out of buying Kane and Rice, prob same with Saka? Pep’s biggest ever buy was an English player. Looks like there’s plenty of evidence of Pep’s...
