Yeah not great.

I heard Naomi Klein saying recently we may have one small window when the AI bubble bursts. One last chance to get some control of things via regulation or whatever. We will never have as much leverage again.
Will we do the right thing? I'm not hopeful.
 
How does one steal Cryptocurrency? i.e. How has someone hacked 'Binance'. Aren't all Crypto tokens traceable? Back in t'day didn't you have to store your Bitcoins as some alpha-numeric doodah? So if $6bn of crypto has been nicked, can't they just switch it off?

Also... I'm not sure I'd be depositing my hard earned in anything owned by anyone with any connections to China whatsoever. Wouldn't it just be far too easy to build an exchange, allow it to grow and then just 'leave the window open'? Then you pin it on the 'likely suspects', knowing full well there is no way anyone can go after them. Looks like harvesting to me. The Chinese have always played a very good long game. #skeptictank
