**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

For this?

took a lot of pleasure in them losing to Sutton United.

For me it was the Peter Ndlouvu (sp?) comeback in maybe 95 in the league cup.

He always looked world class against us and was then terrible the rest of the time.

Had a school friend who was a massive Coventry fan so some rivalry. Fair play to him tbh though as they lost most weeks.

Oh gosh, more memories. That was the time Chris Armstring had just joined and was just getting into his scoring stride? We were 2-0 up, right and was Armstrong one of the scoreres that night?

Man Coventry...i forgot how much pain they'd inflicted over the years before they went down for the first time in absolute decades....in fact, the whole 'Spurzy' thing for me was epitomised by that 1987 FA Cup final....

Ha, I’d completely forgotten but that reminds me that Armstrong scored in the first minute I think… could have been his purple patch not sure.

Also reminded me of being 3-0 down at white hart lane to Coventry the year before!

Crazy Armstrong got so much stick. I always liked him. We could use his finishing ability nowadays.

I'm not sure we have been creating enough food chances get a big score line against anyone, but we have been playing well enough we should be getting some 3 points....

They owe us big for the final day of 1996/97 season. We put a properly on-the-beach side out, which meant they stayed up and Sunderland went down. Sunderland fans still haven't forgiven us for that.

Fingers crossed we see Fernandes and Tonali together with either Marmoush or Maddison in the 10.

Coventry will create chances on the break but Van Der Van can help minimise that.

Check out Cov's goals 2 and 4 here, very impressive pingers. Not as good as Botman's though.

Disappointing to learn it is no longer called the Ricoh Arena. That was one of my best impressions, saying "Reeeekoaoaoaoah Aereeaeeaeaana"

Marmoush at ST? He's not a striker. Have to play Solanke, we have no other choice
I agree, he should be playing in the false 9 with an attacker who can hold up the ball and of whom he can play off of. Unfortunately Solanke isn’t very good at doing that.
