Nah, he's not a defender's defender. His positional sense and judgment is questionable. He gives away free-kicks in dangerous areas because he doesn't use his brain.
The frustration with him is that because of his injuries he hasn't grown out of some of these things and calmed down in his defending. He has so many raw ingredients to become a superb player.
Apart from that bit, I disagree with pretty much everything you’ve said about today’s game
