I see at the 2030 world cup, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay all automatically qualified for the tournament as hosts, total nonsense, officially now WC is a mickey mouse competition bit like sychronised swimming in the Olympics, apparently now called artistic swimming :):):):):)
 
Been saying it for a while: 2, 3 or 4 big European FAs need to get their acts together and withdraw from FIFA and start a ‘new’ World Cup style event. FIFAs loves to bang on about the history of the competition but let’s be honest: there isn’t very much of it at all. Less than 100 years and a big gap in the middle for a war. Get the cancer that is FIFA removed and cultivate something better and - most importantly - not bent.

De Zerbi asked about it in his press conference today and didn’t get in to specifics but said he hasn’t liked many decisions from fifa in the last few years.

I know the math(s) isn't quite so straight forward but FIFA made at least $15bn revenue from this World Cup.

Divided equally between 211 member states that is $70 million each yet FIFA only offering $20m now and $20m in a 4 years time.

It may be an increase from $8m but even so they are being bought off cheaply.
