It's a shame as he has such a high ceiling. He could be one of the top 5 LBs in the world if he could add more end product attacking-wise and stay healthy.
 
Agree. We have too many injury stricken players and quantity instead of quality back up is not the answer to steady progress.

That LB position is a mess if Davies is there to back up Robertson. Also we need to clarify succession pathways for younger players as we seem shaky in that area recently . If I were Sousa I'd be asking for clarity immediately or go out on loan.

Presumably that is why we have 7 players that can cover left back.
I suspect he will get a couple of injuries this season, then we will sell him back to Italy next summer for a low price.
