****Tottenham Hotspur v Man Utd********* OMT Official

I must say, this fixture now has a new feel since Carrick took over. They’re playing with way more belief than the Man U we’ve got used to. I just hope we can match the belief and we’ll have a good chance

I do hope Cuti watched the match presser this week. I hope he noticed the amount of time Frank had to face the music about his captain's social media posts.

Considering Cuti wants to apply pressure on the guys above Frank at the club, he just ended up throwing his own manager under the bus. I'm hoping that will be the biggest learning curve for Cuti who was out of order in my opinion. He must surely see this angle.

Would love to see us win here and not just for Spurs related reasons. Every media outlet seems to have some heavy Man U ex player punditry that you can't escape, and would love to shut them up about how Man U are 'back' and how great Carrick is based on two games.

We are due a win, have dropped points we haven't deserved to in a couple of games recently - would be beautiful to put in a real performance here. Obviously prepared to be disappointed especially with it being a 12.30 kick off. But nonetheless, I will remain hopeful - at least until we are 2-0 down after ten minutes with VDV having limped off injured :( ....

I think anyone would struggle to get it.

Clue - started at Man U, then left to play in Belgium . After eventually joining us he next went to Crystal Palace....
Good clue though. I had forgotten he existed so wouldn’t have guessed. But the Belgium/Palace reminded me — and people complain about our signing now! Haha

That CM trio is pretty grim from a ballplaying sense. Pretty much parking the back 7 bus. We'll really need Simons and Odobert to do something special on their own (if they ever get the ball)

Gallagher & Sarr done well enough in the 2nd half against City
City leave a lot of space for counters. I don't think this will be the same kind of match. We may have longer periods on the ball where we need to build the play, the concerns about the lineup are valid in that context.

Hate this ko time. I would never have seen half the double winning season if football was played at that time when I was a kid as our school football was played at 11am, it was a rush to get changed and run down to Camden Town for the 127 to Tottenham. Got locked out of Chelsea game as the ground filled up before kick off.
Football is all about a day out. Three or four hours in the pub with your mates, then a bite before going into the stadium. Soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the anticipation of the match. 12.30 kick offs are just about turning up to watch a game and then going home. It's horrible and there is no atmosphere.
With regards to the game, we will lose 3-1
